Re: Champions' Cup Quarter finals 2024
Apparently, this is a sell out. Approximately 150 tickets left in the upper West Stand. Should be a good atmosphere tomorrow.

To add to Leinsterlad's post. The crew gathering in Dublin City centre on Saturday is the same people who with their opportunistic feral hangers on rioted in Dublin last November. Avoid the City Centre if you can. You will not want to be any where near these people.

so is this the match thread then? I'll buy these players will miss the game when the match starts and they aren't listed Per the photos from training on Monday on the Babbling brook Forum, Henshaw and McGrath didn’t train. Garry Ringrose and Charlie Ngatai trained under physio supervision. Porter, ...

Think that is a bit harsh. Luke McGrath knocked himself out via his attempted tackle on Kurt Lee Arendse. I was surprised that he was only yellow carded, should have been red. Luke will hopefully live a long life beyond rugby which he’d wish to be a healthy one. I’ll be very disappointed in the medi...

Re: Leinster tickets
The amateur clubs Bective Rangers and Old Wesley have their clubhouses at each end of Donnybrook Stadium. Thanks for info, anymore details, are they still there etc? Why did we play them there? Sorry only seeing this now. Leinster moved to the RDS at the start of the 2006/07 season as their support...

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat
Looks bad but has Furlong made a meal of it? https://www.balls.ie/rugby/tmo-seems-to-miss-red-card-tackle-on-tadhg-furlong-by-ellis-genge-590468 Certainly looks like a sniper in the crowd Touch of victim blaming there. It looked bad in real time and I was surprised that the TMO didn’t look at it. I...

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat
Well done, England, They deserved that thoroughly. Best performance since RWC SF. It was a cracking game of rugby with good rugby by both teams. Makes for an interesting last weekend.

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat
There’s no patience sadly, so every loss gets tougher for Borthwick, regardless of the mitigating factors - injuries, new caps, continuity etc. Comparing to Ireland is just madness, they’ve got a settled sided who all know their roles for club and country. Lawrence was on form before the 6 Nations,...

Re: 5 Tigers in England U20 squad
Ireland squeezed past Italy in Musgrave Park, Cork, by 23 points to 22 points. Hard not to think that the better team lost. Ireland’s defensive tackling was atrocious - 35 tackles missed. The Italy scrum had Ireland’s scum on toast the whole game. The Italian 14, Scalabrin looks like a very, very go...

Re: Tigers v Leinster (H) - Champions Cup - Saturday 20th January 2024 - KO: 3-15pm
The European Rugby Cup tournament was set up for “representative teams” of the countries whose Rugby Unions created the tournament. It’s a misnomer that it was setup for clubs. As to finance, the fact is that most of the French team budgets appear to dwarf those of their competitors at European leve...

Re: U20's 6 Nations
A very good win for Ireland in very difficult circumstances with the death of Jack Oliver’s Dad, Greig, in SA yesterday and the trauma for the St. Michael’s College contingent in the squad of the deaths in IOS, Greece of two of their classmates this week. England could never quite shake off Australi...

Re: European semi finals
What was that all about. VDF whinges at the touch judge. Milks a penalty. Gets an opponent sent off. This is soccer! Gamesmanship at its worst . VDF and Conan tackle the ST ball carrier and are then cleared out by Meafou who hurts himself in the process ending up sitting on the ground facing the ST...

With all due respect RG, so what? We earned the right to send a very callow squad to SA because we got to the point with two games left where we couldn't be caught. It gave us the perfect opportunity to build experience among younger players. The 23 who started today's match at altitude in Ellis Par...
