Re: Why don't the laws of the game apply to Leinster?

A lot of Tigers embarrasing themselves here.... If you call what Cullen did a red card offense, then I supose Manu's punches against Ashton are a ban for life. Cullen slap was a yellow at best. We are the ones that quickly laughed at how smart Murphy was blocking Foden in the Saints game, yet other ...

Re: Why don't the laws of the game apply to Leinster?

That we in particular, that suffered that stereotype for such a long time, use the same arguments that others used against us, and use that paranoic conspiracy theory, is very dissapointing. And sad. And untrue.

Alarmingly different from re-signed. :smt003

Re: Ford MUST replace Flood

Game was on Spanish TV today again. The spanish commentator had it right all time long. He announced how the two options were available right when murphy came on, and after the drop, he hailed tigers intelligence of having two kickers prepared, therefore dividing saracens attention. Goes to show how...

Someone said on twitter today that there's a strong rumor in the english camp about Parling starting against Wales. Can't remember if it was a journalist.

Re: Ford MUST replace Flood

What a chicken right? He chickened out in the last minute of the game from his own 22 to do a jump pass, quite risky with the opposition in front of his face to set up superiority for Manu to explode. We all know that's the easiest thing to do. Yet Billy had a nightmare of a game earlier this season...

Re: Ford MUST replace Flood

I am with those in defence of Flood. How many times has he saved us with his kicking? Please enlighten me with the number then? Thank you I will enlighten you, but I wont do the work for you. First of all, u must have a really short term memory, like a one month memory or so. Considering flood has ...

Re: Ford MUST replace Flood

What the heck are you talking about? He had a great game he just wasn´t confident in the drop goal. He tackled, he earned penalties at the breakdown, he made breaks under heavy pressure and about 90% of his clearance kicks were great. Did you see him calling for the ball like 10 times before Grindal...

Re: Cockerill's future

Well before appointing a new coach, Id like to know if the board has a clear idea of where we want to go in a short-medium term. And i don't mean about basic goals like "winning every competition" I mean if they have a clear strategy to give basis to every single decision, such as How we w...

I thought about answering to that quote, but first I would ask you to explain what are you implying with it. Just to be sure I am understanding correctly before answering.

Re: Chris Robshaw named England captain

Travesti decision for me. In my long sport's career, no matter if it was football or rugby, no matter the team, captaincy was always the most respected and hard to get position. It wasn't necessarily given to the oldest player in the club, yet I never ever imagined a new guy coming to the team and g...

Re: Tigers turned down Shaun Edwards!

I think the deal was that he would only be able to train one day a week, so IMO that would be not enough to add anything significant. So better spend the money elsewhere. Like in Graham Henry for next year, if that is still alive

Re: End of Cotton Traders

Of all my rugby jerseys, Cotton Traders (our current jersey, not the old ones) is probably my least favorite. I don't like the design, don't like the material and I think is massively overpriced. However I've got an old one (when it was bradstone on the front) and I like it a lot, its thicker and th...

Re: Cockerill's future

Why can't RC's detractors see that he has been the most succesful coach in the premiership for the last three years? Well, this discussion goes in circles again and again. His detractors exposed their points a lot of times in this and other posts. Basically it is argued that you can see a downward ...

Re: Cockerill's future

I would say that the actual situation is like playing injured, if you keep doing it, you risk permanent damage. Better to heal it before its too late.
