Re: Suits vs Players?
So yourself as a fan. If there were only 11 games a season and 5 or 6 at homes would you still feel the same with having so many free weekends with no rugby? If the players wages aren't reduced would you still pay the same price for your ticket ? Don't think so. Agree with the number of games that p...

Re: The Local Derby v Saints!
I can only think of 4 options regarding the George North incident: 1. He was or appeared to have been rendered unconscious and the medical team failed to appreciate this. The medical team should be re-trained or replaced. 2. He was or appeared to have been rendered unconscious and, in spite of this...

Re: Captain Hartley
Hartley wasn't ditched as captain at saints! He gave the captaincy up after he discussed it with Mallinder, a fact upheld by Mallinder after it was announced but hey why let the truth get in the way of a good lie??

Re: Teams up v Saints
I dont think too many of us saints fans are surprised at Hartley on bench as haywood has had a pretty good season whilst Hartley been out with concussion and has earned the right to start in this derby. haywoods been more than capable of holding his own and hartley from the bench gives more options....

Re: BT Sport
Just checked with BT on my package because I used to have BT vision and now they have BT TV which includes BT Sport normally. Confirmed that by having BT TV then will still get BT sport. Individuals need to speak to them to confirm what included in their packages as there seems to be a lot of variou...

Re: 24,000 sell-out? Stop lying!
I've noticed the same thing at Franklins Gardens when it's announced that the crowd is 13500 or whatever figure but can see some seats in various areas empty and have asked on a number of occassions why they announce figures that cannot possibly be the attendance on the day even although at times th...

Re: Why do people leave the ground early?
Personally I'm not bothered either way about people leaving early as long as they do it quickly and efficiently and don't stop just because the game has suddenly got an exciting happening suddenly occurring. People pay their money and takes their choice so if they stay and get full value yes, if the...

Re: Silence for the kicker
Saints for the last two seasons have put onto the large TV screen the words "shhh someone is kicking" each time and although it's generally not required it does serve as a reminder to anyone who sees the screen that the respect for all the kickers should be observed and normally it is. It ...

Re: Whining chief exec at Saffacens
Strange how he makes comparison to football or maybe playing at Watford ground for so long it rubbed off onto them.
Obviously aggrieved at putting so much money into a team that has come up empty handed over the last few seasons!!!!

Re: the Champions Cup
The last thing I heard was that it was being translated into Italian for signature and there had been some translation problems initially but surely it doesn't take that long or is someone's agent not getting their share! Wonder where this now leaves the ERC legally and whether or not the remaining ...
