Thanks. Interesting - he's saying the right things but what is his record with the soccer clubs he owns?

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat
Tommy Reffell led the turnover stats in the 6N.
There also seems to be some confusion about how to pronounce his name; is the emphasis on the first syllable or the second?

I'd rather keep van Wyck and let Cronin go. A real disappointment post injury.

Re: French rugby 2023/24
Matthieu Jalibert will play no more part in the 6Nations, which could be a blessing in disguise. Who will replace him? I'd go with Racing's Antoine Gibert and select clubmate Nolan Le Garrec at scrum half. Maxim Lucu has been a disappointment at scrum half. His club form with Bordeaux/Bègles has be...

Agreed, fantastic to watch. And Penaud was making ridiculous amounts of yardage.

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat
Here’s the French squad for Cardiff with an extraordinary 4 new caps; Barré, Depoortère, Meafou in the starting XV and big Georges-Henri Colombe, a bench prop. 15. Barré ; 14. Penaud, 13. Fickou, 12. Depoortere, 11. Bielle-Biarrey ; 10. Ramos ; 9. Le Garrec ; 7.Ollivon, 8. Alldritt (cap), 6. Cros ;...

Re: Trailfinders a sad indictment of rugby
The latest attempt to court popularity comes from Simon Massey-Taylor by way of Courtney Lawes. He wants to publicise the "big hits". Rob Calder, who is the RFU's Head of Growth (wonder how his appraisals have been recently) agrees and says "this is what the wider public want". T...

Good point, Scuttle.
I tuned into Channel 4 when they began broadcasting American football. It was free and they had pundits breaking down the game and running information films to explain what, to me, seemed inexplicable. After I understood what was going on a little more, I began to enjoy it.
