I think we overwhelmingly deserved the win and was only referring to a couple of incidents (the bounce of Freddie Steward's kick for example) as to how things went right for us that may well have gone...

Re: Tigers vs Exeter - Saturday 18th September 2021 - 1500

Feet on the ground and keep things in proportion but could not wish for a better start.... Agreed. If we can keep up that energy level it looks good. The energy and the intent were what pleased me most. They looked like a team not individuals and they looked hungry for a win. Mistakes? Sure. Rub of...

Really excited, not felt like this for years! On the fence about the result but really fed up I cannot attend. Hope the neighbours have earplugs.

Re: We are BACK! Week 1 match thread - 2021/2022

2 of the 3 new laws not needed. The third, about not hitting/twisting jackallers lower limbs not needed either. Bristol seemed stuck for ideas and how much did Saracens line speed owe to being marginally (or more) offside?

Agreed with all the above, although Tigers have yet to perform for real this season. We should know a lot more tomorrow.

Re: Premiership Stats 2021/22

Very interesting. Overturns some of the opinions I had. We come much higher in some of the categories than I would have thought. Bodes well. The Times analysis is that Exeter are the team to beat. Well, let's do that tomorrow.

ABC bar and toilets closed. Free movement in the Crumbie restricted. Fair enough. I wonder how many of us will be wearing masks? I will to get through pinch points like the turnstiles.

Cheer up, it may never ever happen.
The new chairman of the RFU Tom Ilube says he thinks he can grow the game by "two or three times". Whether this figure relates to revenue, people watching or people playing he doesn't say. He is, however, a big fan of private equity investment.

I have been impressed by the growing maturity of Ellis. He seems to be able to speak to Sir in a calm way. More power to him!

Re: Tigers vs Exeter - Saturday 18th September 2021 - 1500

Not sure if this has been mentioned or not but officiating team for Saturday: Referee: Ian Tempest. Assistant Referees: Greg Macdonald and Phil Watters. TMO: Andrew Jackson. Citing Officer: Budge Pountney.‌ Let’s all hope for a better game than the last one Tempest referred at WR…! Personally I hop...

Dokie, there's more loyalty on the Terrace and wooden seats than in any other stand. Hard-core supporters who even stay for the end of games.
Including me!
If you are on the terrace I doubt you hear the quieter remarks more than a few rows back. Some of us have played and seen a lot of rugby

But are we going to continue to play in the old way given that we have picked up Freddie Burns not known for his kick tennis game? I'm hoping that with JvP and a gelled backline we might see a little more ball in hand.
