Re: Country Road adopted lyrics

When I used to do my schtik on crowd behaviour, I used to reference Tigers.
"We have chants", I would say, "we have 'Tigers' Tigers' and we have 'Deano, Deano'; we're very creative at Leicester".

It used to raise a smile.

There is a reference to the song on the Tiger's site in the article about the trophy:

Try to remember the principle of deferred pleasure. We've waited 9 years for a championship trophy, surely we can wait 8 days to learn next season's squad?

Blimey ! Tell me, tell me NOW. is what a lot of this sounds like. We will know so hold your horses. I'm disappointed that Moroni has left, I thought he added real heft in the centre.

I thought his commitment and physicality on the field were excellent. Very sorry to see him leave. Perhaps it was off field things that decided it?

At Twickers but too nervous to eat or drink anything. Where's the feeling sick emoji?
Probably better for your bank balance too.

Can't be there but, like most others, just overjoyed that the dreadful days seem to be behind us.

Didn't see Wigg starting. Ok with it though. Good selection elsewhere. Shame for JVP, but he should have many more finals to come.

Anybody getting fed up with the media love-in with Sarries? Apparently they only have to turn up on Saturday, cheating past that still holds, ignored. The Times today with a large article about just how wonderful Sarries are and a piece from Barnes saying if Tigers win SB should be the next England...
