You couldn't make it up, part 94

True, and I had to check it twice: The BBC man covering the fuel shortage is called...

Re: Tigers @ Gloucester - Friday 24th September 2021 - 1945

Gloucester were edgier than Exeter and we were less slick than last week. Last week, almost everything we tried came off. This week more 50/50. Shame George missed some points but pleased with the attitude again. Defence looks willing and we seem less afraid to try things. Saracens next week and the...

I think, Dr Flashman, that your game analysis will prove correct. As to your other question; I have never decanted having convinced myself, in pre-dishwasher days, that the often curious shapes made getting them properly clean difficult.
And Wardy, this is just pre-match chat - to calm the nerves.

Re: Tigers @ Gloucester - Friday 24th September 2021 - 1945

Really looking forward to tomorrow. Am home alone so: TV on, table full of girth expanding foods and a bottle of Fleurie. We, in the recent past, have been an up and down team; win one, lose one. I really hope that's changed.

Re: George Ford

Eddie Jones is quoted as saying (about George and the 2 Vunipolas) "We are selecting now with the 2023 World Cup in mind," Jones told BBC Sport. Jones says the door is far from closed on the players left out, but says they need to "work out if they want to give it all for the next World Cup". He add...

Whilst searching for info on Bordeaux I came across a heading for Sky TV and it was saying our game is scheduled for Saturday 3pm. Do Sky now cover the European matches?
Not sure. Will try to find it

Re: Another change in broadcasting on the horizon

Started with BT wi-fi so I could get the sport. Changed to Sky + BT sport. Then when I threatened to go back to BT I got sky cinema (all of it) + sky sports (all of it) and BT sports and HD and more all for the same price. It's worth negotiating.

Re: Tigers vs Exeter - Saturday 18th September 2021 - 1500

I'm afraid I started the "the rub of the green" hare running and I did not make my intention clear. I think we overwhelmingly deserved the win and was only referring to a couple of incidents (the bounce of Freddie Steward's kick for example) as to how things went right for us that may well have gone...

Re: Tigers vs Exeter - Saturday 18th September 2021 - 1500

Feet on the ground and keep things in proportion but could not wish for a better start.... Agreed. If we can keep up that energy level it looks good. The energy and the intent were what pleased me most. They looked like a team not individuals and they looked hungry for a win. Mistakes? Sure. Rub of...

Really excited, not felt like this for years! On the fence about the result but really fed up I cannot attend. Hope the neighbours have earplugs.

Re: We are BACK! Week 1 match thread - 2021/2022

2 of the 3 new laws not needed. The third, about not hitting/twisting jackallers lower limbs not needed either. Bristol seemed stuck for ideas and how much did Saracens line speed owe to being marginally (or more) offside?

Re: We are BACK! Week 1 match thread - 2021/2022

Agreed with all the above, although Tigers have yet to perform for real this season. We should know a lot more tomorrow.
