Does Louis like Robespierre? Question for history buffs :smt052
How could anyone like Robespierre with his "bathing" parties, despicable man. Not the one on here obviously 😂
Oh, no! Anyway, here in France we only wash once a week!

Re: ERC Champions cup draw

Just caught it ,shame 😂 So you’d prefer La Rochelle and/or Munster to go through instead of Northampton? Granted, that their pool is a toughie, but I’ll be hoping they’ll do well. Absolutely! I'd want the SA teams to win if they played an English team too. I support Tigers and England and have a so...

Maybe we can now get to the nitty gritty! An efficient bar service where one’s thirst can be quenched without a minimum 15-minute wait!
15 mins? Please do let us all into the secret of where the "fast track" queue is!

Zach Mercer deserved the Man of the match award, but I wonder if Eddie was watching?
Won’t pick him anyway if he’s playing in France
His contract with Montpellier expires at the end of next season so he may well be looking for an English club in August 2023.

Re: French Rugby 2021/2022

Castres finally showing up in the 2nd half, but still can't move the scoreboard. If I were bottom seed in the cup next season, I'd be thrilled to draw them. Castres didn’t finish in first place at the end of the regular season for no reason. They are a very good team but didn’t get their game toget...

23-3 in favour of Montpellier at half time, for whom Mercer is influential.

Re: Other Games - 17th to 19th June 2022

In the second Top14 semi, Montpellier surprisingly beat Bordeaux/Bègles 19-10, so my predictions in both semis went up in smoke! So next Friday’s final will be Castres v Montpellier. No prediction from me!

How do you top this?! Double next year? 😉
That will be what SB is planning for already (I’d say tomorrow but I think he’d have started already) but why stop at the double …… what about the treble ?
Just win the next game.
Exactly!

Special mention for Freddie Steward who, bar one, caught everything thrown at him and often made yards in return. A special player !

Re: Premiership Final v Saracens - 18th June 2022 KO 15:00

There was a tear in my eye when Tom Youngs lifted the trophy. A gutsy performance from Tigers and scoring two tries to none was exceptional. When was the last time Saracens didn’t score a try in a match? Not that I need to know the answer. Well done, Tigers!
