His contract with Montpellier expires at the end of next season so he may well be looking for an English club in August 2023.

Special mention for Freddie Steward who, bar one, caught everything thrown at him and often made yards in return. A special player !

There was a tear in my eye when Tom Youngs lifted the trophy. A gutsy performance from Tigers and scoring two tries to none was exceptional. When was the last time Saracens didn’t score a try in a match? Not that I need to know the answer. Well done, Tigers!
