Re: French Rugby 2021/2022
Castres finally showing up in the 2nd half, but still can't move the scoreboard. If I were bottom seed in the cup next season, I'd be thrilled to draw them. Castres didn’t finish in first place at the end of the regular season for no reason. They are a very good team but didn’t get their game toget...

23-3 in favour of Montpellier at half time, for whom Mercer is influential.

In the second Top14 semi, Montpellier surprisingly beat Bordeaux/Bègles 19-10, so my predictions in both semis went up in smoke! So next Friday’s final will be Castres v Montpellier. No prediction from me!

Special mention for Freddie Steward who, bar one, caught everything thrown at him and often made yards in return. A special player !

There was a tear in my eye when Tom Youngs lifted the trophy. A gutsy performance from Tigers and scoring two tries to none was exceptional. When was the last time Saracens didn’t score a try in a match? Not that I need to know the answer. Well done, Tigers!

Montpellier v Bordeaux/Bègles teams: Montpellier are without 2nd row Paul Willemse and scrum half Kobus Reinach. France XV centre Arthur Vincent moves to the wing and future Tiger Handré Pollard is on the bench. Bordeaux/Bègles were on fire against Racing and I believe that they'll be in next Friday...

Re: Heavier music next season
I may get shot down for saying this, but do we really need music blaring from the speakers when the team runs onto the pitch? Wouldn’t the crowds’ cheering suffice?
