Re: Transfers & Rumours Non-Tigers 2018-19

Former Tiger, Laurence Pearce has left Mont de Marsan (ProD2) for the Top14 club Agen. Don't know if this is old news, but Pau have signed All Black Ben Smith from Otago Highlanders. Still with Pau, Steffon Armitage is on his way and could be joining Perpignan. All Black Nehe Milner-Skudder is anoth...

Re: Ne]

I swapped my scarf with a Brive fan, at Cardiff Arms park, Heineken Cup Final. And so did I!! A hell of a day out, that! Chartered train from London Road to Cardiff. God knows how we managed to get so many crates of beer on the train and consume it all before arriving in Cardiff! Great game (ok , s...

Re: Transfers & Rumours Non-Tigers 2018-19

Basteraud to Munster,he's received a genuine offer apparently ..and apparently he's politely refused the offer. He's looking for a club until December when his contract with New York begins. Montpellier, Stade Français and Lyon are in the running to sign him, so whatever club he ends up at he'll ha...

Has a date been set when the fixtures will be announced so that we can all begin thinking about travel plans?

Re: European cups draw

Tigers should be pleased with that draw, although away wins in Cardiff and Pau will not be easy. Pau didn't have the best of seasons in the Top14 and finished 11th but nonetheless will be a tough nut to crack in their home stadium. For travelling to Pau, there are two airports in the region, Tarbes/...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD

You might want to look at this https://www.eurostar.com/uk-en/train/france/london-to-marseille Looks good to me! You'll either have to change in Lille (just a change of platform) or in Paris (change of station Gare du Nord/Gare de Lyon), so changing in Lille would by far the simpler option, and it ...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD

He was 'most difficult opponent' because of his scrummaging ability, not his handling. With the utmost respect Tom, I think you need to watch this. Apart from his renowned scrummaging ability he displays some excellent handling including one outrageous "out the back door" pass, some crunching tackl...

Allez Toulouse! Up the red and black!
Salut, Dai! Not the best of matches but Toulouse’s willingness to move the ball paid dividends. Did you see the game on t’internet? The motto “jeu de mains, jeu toulousain” certainly applied yesterday!

A deserved win got Toulouse whose defence was watertight. Shame for Kayser, but he gave his all and had a wonderful career!

Clermont for me too, because of Kayser. What a pair o' sentimental aul' burghers! Ok, I'm a Toulouse supporter but I certainly wouldn't begrudge a winner's medal to Kayser! Ahh, Also have a soft spot for Toulouse and glad to see them 'on the up' again, would have been a harder choice if Floody was ...
