Re: Finishing this season

Given all the changes that have been made since the last game, when Tigers were improving, no-one can predict how the games are going to go. New players and a new Head Coach and some back room staff, and clarity in the game plan Tigers are entering a nejw period.....I do not buy that things will be...

Re: Finishing this season

There’ve been one or two comments that Tigers could get in to the top 6 by the end of the season. Mathematically, it’s possible, and if it happens then the champagne corks will indeed be flying. Realistically, however, two wins would be good, and more importantly, each player in the squad should be...

Although I probably won't be watching as I'll be cycling in the Pyrenees or recovering with a beer next to the pool, unless the rules change by tomorrow evening!!
Seems to be the better option to me!

Re: England to win Six Nations

So the 6N 2020 is to be completed on the 24th and 31st of October, and a winning bp in Italy will see England crowned as winners. The times of the matches are likely to be announced next week. Will spectators be allowed? Is so, how many? I need to know cos there are 6 of us going to the SdF for the...

I would have been delighted to get Bendy Bus, on a years contract, but feel Murimurivalu is an upgrade
Undoubtedly he’s made the right decision with a two-year contract with an up and coming ProD2 club, and I think the charming town of Vannes may just have the upper hand over Leicester!

Immaterial now , and not exactly going to lose sleep over it ,but apparently Nick Abendanon turned down both ourselves and London Irish to remain in France: https://www.rugbypass.com/news/the-2-premiership-clubs-abendanon-snubbed-to-stay-in-france/ Not sure we needed "Trip" Abendanon. We got rid of...

Re: 'The Ruck' lists The Premierships worst signings....

Have to remember in order to sign Pietersen we released Goneva, Pietersen was certainly a class player but lazy. JDV was if I remember correctly an injury dispensation signing and only had a 3 month contract. If we gave some though to selecting our worst ever signings I am sure we could come up wit...

Re: Fiji entering the 6 Nations

The French are not happy with the test window proposals. The French are never happy it is their nature! S That French hooker we had was a good egg as well; his sojourn (derivation - French ‘sejour’) in Leicester even got him sufficiently fluent in English to be able to commentate on rugby. Still of...

Re: Transfers and Rumours Non-Tigers 2019-20

Honestly, I wouldn't believe a word of it. It all comes from Dominici and the people he represents - the people so wealthy that they could allegedly sign half the worlds best players but couldn't manage to purchase a French D2 club that would have cost less than a second hand Renault Clio. The whol...

Re: Topps Tiles - new main sponsor

The Members stand ceased to exist years ago, it maybe a fond memory for some but it has gone. The slag heap disappeared over 25 years ago when we built the Alliance and Leicester. The club house went as did the Nissan hut, we still have the Crumbie stand and terrace but one day they too will go and...
