Re: Naughty Ospreys being investigated
I have checked some more on the laws regarding contracts for the HC, and all I can find is that at the time of signing, the player must have a minimum of a three month contract. Nothing else. It doesn't even say that the contract can not be cancelled after just 1 game /week and so on. I would imagi...

Re: England vs Wales
Two years ago he pretty much condoned the same behaviour from Martyn Williams when he was sin binned for tripping O'Leary in Dublin, but we won that day so I guess it's different. Ah. But two years ago the New Welsh Golden era under Gatland was dawning (NOT)! :smt003 :smt003 :smt003 The frustrating...

Re: England vs Wales
Wasn't Gatland gracious in defeat? He gave England no credit, just blamed the loss on Alun-Wyn Jones. Two years ago he pretty much condoned the same behaviour from Martyn Williams when he was sin binned for tripping O'Leary in Dublin, but we won that day so I guess it's different.

Re: Times piece about Tigers and former players coaching
Does the club help players prepare for life after their playing days have ended? Are they funded through uni or college etc?

Re: Amateur Player Blinded by Gouging - Police Investigate
As i have said on this forum before (and was ignored!) anyone who gouges should be banned for life, that would rid the sport of the problem - and criminal charges should follow. At no point in any sport is it acceptable to make any contact with any other human beings eyes!!!! :smt011 :smt009 best w...

Re: England vs Wales
Richard Cockerill claimed that the England physio used to take a razor blade onto the pitch with him to feign blood injuries but that he refused to have any part in it. Why did his stance change last year? Is the chairman of the club putting too much pressure on him to achieve results by whatever m...

Re: England vs Wales
Rolland questioned it but Allan Lewis was happy for Hipkiss to leave the field. We had manufactured blood injuries in both the quarter finals and semi finals last year, it stinks! That is as I said it, the referee knew and accepted it. He had the option to say no. What Byrne did, he did WITHOUT per...

Re: England vs Wales
The Leicester fans were understandably aggrieved following the Byrne incident. If it was not a mistake by the Ospreys then it went against the spirit of the game, in the same way as Dupuy's re-introduction to the fray prior to the penalty shoot out against Cardiff last year . I do not accept that a...

Re: England vs Wales
My profound apologies, you are quite right, it is perhaps the team selection I dreaded and unfortunately it has come to pass. The front row will get mullered. Doesn't stop you being a troll - see posts on the Ospreys situation etc. The Leicester fans were understandably aggrieved following the Byrn...

Re: England vs Wales
That front row will get mullered. Payne cannot be a serious contender for anything, and if MJ picks him we might as well go home now. Anyway you all rose to the bait - FBI is a Welsh troll albeit one quoting press 'informed' speculation. TROLL ALERT! No dear, that's the team: http://www.rfu.com/New...

Re: England vs Wales
Wales will bring the Lions front row. We should have the advantage in the pack, assuming Gough and AWJ in the 2nd row and Powell, Williams and Jones in the back row.BJ. wrote:Let's hope the Welsh don't bring any decent tightheads with them!
