Re: Doom and Gloom

To be completely fair, Saracens (and every other club for that matter) have "bang average" Premiership players - because, salary cap. They are just very good at making the team greater than the sum of its parts and a huge part of that comes down to consistency of coaching. I think this se...

2 page interview with Freddie in todays DT, he is very disappointed at losing England place and not happy with mooted discussions about playing centre. To me last week at Saints he looked unhappy at having to play on the wing and I think he has made his feelings known, hense his return to FB today.

Another game killed stone dead by a red card We were the better team for the majority of the time when we had 15... Yep - we were in the game with 15 but not with 14 for 40mins against the best team in the league. I do worry for next season, we’ve lost Wiese and unless we sign some top end players ...

Re: Championship Clubs Promotion

My advice to Ealing is:- go ahead and apply for planning permission, this wouldn't be at a massive cost and it would show the RFU they are serious. It may also attract extra fans knowing this and wishing to see Prem rugby. If the RFU stil lsay no, but the Planning Permission is granted, then the cl...

Am I alone, at the end of each season I say to myself why have we let so and so go, I thought he was a really good player, then I look/listen to the list of players we have signed and think wow he's great we will win things this season, then the season ends and leaves me wondering. This year ending ...

If we need a second playmaker and want Shillcock in the side, why not try him at 12, with Freddie at 15? Shillcock is a more jinky runner and it would let Kata go on the wing, Kelly at 13.?

put your tin hat on ABC, you've dared suggesting moving Freddie's position. With the back line we picked today you could experiment with Kelly to 12 Freddie to 13 Kata to 14, with the fall back option of swapping back if its not working, whatever we do we need to get our biggest weapons with their ...

Proud of the lads tonight. Add Martin, Chessum and Reffell into that. Watson too when fully fit and that’s a good sign. Leinster too clinical today but that showed a good performance to me. Credit to the lads I thought their replacements did well, they didnt let us down, hope they arnt rusty when t...

What’s the matter with Pollard?! Change of coach rattled him perhaps? I thought SA didnt rate him in the WC (world cup before some one takes the wee wee) until the final when they had to play him for his goal kicking, I thought the other guy played a better attacking game but was a poor place kicke...

No Ben, I thought he might be a starter, not even on bench, like I said in earlier post last time I saw him he looked down in the dumps, I just wonder if he is 99.9% finished?

Another week without Watson!

Re: JVP

It amazes me that a 29 year old scrum half who still cannot box kick properly is miraculously somehow now better than the most capped England player in history. I'm no fan of BY but at least he can box kick properly which is a very basic and essential skill of any scrum half. If anyone is deluded e...
