Sadly not a Tiger any more, but Sam Costelow 18 points for Wales v Italy.
Sadly he left, he and JVP would have been brilliant, continuation of their Oakham days.

Re: Transfers & Rumours Non-Tigers 2020-21

When have I suggested that anyone is magnificent ? I have read your previous posts and it is obvious that you have a very high opinion of anyone who is Welsh Not anyone, just those who are. I used the word ignorance earlier because I only offer opinions based upon what I know, whereas some regular ...

Re: Tom Youngs Charged

Will take whatever punishment OTY gets as the interactions of players & Sir in Rugby Union are one of the things that makes the game what it is & is often held up as a good example by other sports in how to treat the officials. But there must be some punishment of Bristols actions, it was embarrass...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD EPISODE VI: The Return of the Burns

Gonna add on here some speculation about Mike Rhodes, just announced he's leaving Sarries. (There's a bit on the non Tigers transfer thread) Could he be the Back Row Eggchasers were discussing. He'd add significant depth to our back row. If Martin moved to lock that would mean our back row could be...

Re: United Rugby Championship

The European pool stage matches for next season are over four weekends Dec 10/11/12, Dec 17/18/19. Jan 14/15/16. Jan 21/22/23 then into last sixteen 1st leg April 8/9/10. Hence my assumption just two home pool stage matches thatt can be included on the season ticket. I foresee that the inclusion of...

Re: The Play Offs...

I see Rob Baxter is bleating about the unfairness of Exeter players being suspended for foul play. It’s noteworthy how united coaches are in supporting to clampdown on illegal head contact - until it happens to their players. I’m pleased that SB seems to be an exception - I certainly don’t recall h...

What a genius player! a great coach and a great human being, what a signing!! :smt023 Great coach...no real evidence so far, can't argue with the other statements Yes, agree. He's a RL legend, and, by all accounts, a strong character. But it has to be seen as a big gamble for both him and Tigers. O...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD EPISODE VI: The Return of the Burns

When does he start kpj? It says 'ahead of the 2021-22 season'! So Yorkshire say at the end of the season and we say before next season, who's right? :smt017 The way that the Rhinos post stated that Sinfield's position had basically disappeared, (was he no good at it?) makes me wonder if he will be ...

Re: United Rugby Championship

Correct me if I am wrong but I believe I have already paid for next season's season ticket as I continued to support the club throughout the difficulties caused by the pandemic. Now I find that the season I purchased a ticket for is distorted, First it will start later as the authorities have sneak...

Re: United Rugby Championship

I thought I read sometime ago, possibly on here, that due to the Time Zone differences in the SH it was better for SA teams to play in our zone as there is only 1 hour difference, less Jet Lag.

Sorry you beat me to it.

Re: How do you rate this season?

7/10 top 6 and a European final is nothing to be sneezed at but overall I found our attacking play lacking and still too make mistakes but HUGE progress has been made and the players and coaches are to be congratulated on that I agree with that, my one main gripe would be our loss in Euro by wrong ...

Well done Tigers, great win, well done Gengey, Montoya and Wiese, Martin outstanding.

It was a pleasure to read this thread this week without the constant commentary!
