Did BB play in Wales last week, isn't that where our worst area for Covid was, judging by the stricter Welsh restrictions?

Re: Leicester v Bordeaux (H) - 22nd January 2022 - 15:15

Yes a very good team, but disappointed there is still no sign of Hanro/MVS. Hopefully they are not too far away. Unusually it looks like the Old King has been given a week off as well, hope he's not injured! I hope MVS is OK. In one of the matches (just pre Christmas I think) he took the ball into ...

Olly Robinson seems a bit of a strange signing, plays for Cardiff and cannot get regular starts? What impression does that give out, considering Cardiff's poor form? :smt017

Re: 6 Nations 2022

Being selfish with Ford confirmed off do we want Ford to get picked for the 6N's anyway? Not like we can use england as a cravat to keep him now. Most likely he is going to play out of his skin. 90% sure he will get called up next year anyway. Is it because he wears it around his neck RB? :smt052 G...

Re: Leicester v Bordeaux (H) - 22nd January 2022 - 15:15

It's an idea I actually really love for this sort of game. Absolutely stack the bench for impact late on. With that incentive of a potential home Q/F with a top 2 finish I just can't quite see it happening though. Don't forget ABC that we won away with a mixed team, so I would hope that we can do e...

Re: Leicester v Bordeaux (H) - 22nd January 2022 - 15:15

As we have already qualified I would go with our 2nd choice starting 15 and load the bench with the Internationals to ensure we get the win. Give them 20/25 mins to get them ready for Sale. My bench would be Genge, Montoya, Cole, Wells, Reffell, Youngs, Ford and Steward. I know its difficult to nam...

Re: CONNACHT (A) - Saturday 15th January 2022 - 3-15pm

Never say die attitude gets it home, a display not to remember but a few individual bits of magic gets the win, discipline was awful, hoping Burns finds his old form as seems very rusty. I think he is starting to. Some things that he completely arsed up the last few games have started to stick - no...

Re: Future of recreational rugby?

Having played recreational rugby for over 30years starting at Grammar School and then having associations with Loughborough, Belgrave, Stamford and South Leicester, I have long been worried about the state of local rugby. I find it staggering that clubs that used to get 6 or 7 teams out ( if you in...

Re: Future of recreational rugby?

I also had a part time few years at Bishop Veseys, the first while Zac Feaunati was head of rugby. However the rugby dept soon went after Zac left. An interesting debate at the time was how some Independents prioritised big lumps over skills, just to win games, and the bad effect on rugby in genera...

Re: Future of recreational rugby?

Lineker went to a rugby playing grammar and had to change to one of the ones that played football, has spoken about it a few times. Massive need to focus on getting it right for rugby in the city/intimidate area. Wales' Dewar Shield is a good model I think. Focus on getting 6-10 games in the second...
