Re: Leicester Tigers Academy thread - 2019/20

I haven't watched the Academy as a team since 2017/8, we appear to have some good names/players there but Saints are on the up and the last few times I watched, they thrashed us, so hopeful that we can improve on those days.

I think the extended discussion regarding Itoje is not relevant to this thread. :smt017

Re: Trouble at mill - May to go?

It really makes you wonder if the club are financially sound. Club up for sale, last year lost £1.9 million, reduced gates, dwindling season tickets, less beer sales, poor performances and planning for relegation? Oh dear.

Re: This Weekend in Europe

Yes I believe Wayne recently did an A Level in French to improve himself in Europe. Wayne has been speaking French in matches now for 2 or 3 years, its good to hear! It annoys me when the likes of Nigel speaks in his Welsh accent, I can't understand him so how do others especially French, Italians ...

Re: Tigers v Calvisano - Teams up!

For me it was a surreal match, I did not see anything served up by us on the pitch that gave me more confidence that we can turn our season around and avoid relegation. On an individual player level the big positives were Lewis, Steward and Veianu. Our set piece was underwhelming and the truth is t...

Re: Tigers v Calvisano - Teams up!

I am sure Manu was injured, he was stretching his leg, possibly groin or hamstring strain, he tried to stay on but they hooked him early to ensure he did no further damage. As to the game it was a welcome win, but you can't say much more, yes we scored loads of tries, many with smarter moves than se...

Re: Tigers v Calvisano - Teams up!

Sounds like a sensible idea when most of us were expecting the B team. Might persuade a few more fans to buy tickets, which would be good for the club. I support the club so I'm in favour of that... I'm not against it! Just intrigued why? I think the deadline for naming the team is 24 hours before ...

Re: Tigers v Calvisano

If we cant win, and win well with that strong side, then we are in dire trouble. Good to see a real mix, experience alongside establish players is the way forward, look forward to the game, following a good lunch before. Good to see the England players, I assume, wanting to play.

Re: Borthwick

RugbyInsideLine hinting that Borthwick to Tigers is off. Has anyone else anything? It’s a done deal, the players and staff have all been told. Due to start after the 6N. If that is the case, is it having an adverse effect on Murphy and Ford? Could it be an explanation as to our terrible chaotic sha...

Re: Saints away - Saturday 30th November

Lets try to be positive, we played against top of table away at Saints, so we lost with a very bad performance but we had our stars back for the first time. I imagine they had a right go at each other on Monday and I don't expect a full team to perform so badly again. So can we get anything out of a...

The above can be the new warm up exercise pre-match for the players.
That looks like what they were doing after the match at Saints.
