Re: Tigers v Saints

Well Spencer weighed 122 KG when he was at worcester. Spot on RagingBull the weight Stats on his profile are wrong 122/125 KGs big unit. So our website is wrong then? You quote past weights, you just believe that you know better than our website without considering that our training schedule/dietic...

Re: The Six Nations 2019

I've just enjoyed watching our Women win their GS, Ok it was very one sided today but England sure do have some exciting women players, including our own brilliant Emily. :smt045 :smt038 :smt038

Re: The Six Nations 2019

Folk saying the blame lies with Eddie, these are international players. Where's the onfield leadership? At this level players should be able to change tact midgame. England remind me of Leicester really ,just clueless at times. Problem, his Captain Farrell cannot change, he only has 1 style of play ...

Re: The Six Nations 2019

Problem lies with EJ, he selects Farrell at FH, he only has 1 game plan and Jones has to play to him, basically its kick kick kick and tackle with no arms shoulder tackle. Something has to change, Farrell's OK in certain games but lacks the all round skills to beat an opponent. :smt017 :smt022

Re: Tigers v Saints

Sorry to disagree but our website lists weights as, Kali 120 kgs, Fitz 115, Kitch 120, BOC 100, Spencer 112, Thompson 106, Wells 119, Williams 115.

That makes Spencer our lightest Lock, and my suggestion of Williams at 8 a very sound selection. I did look it up before I made my initial post!

Re: Tigers v Saints

Williams is not an 8 period. There are tried and tested options. Assuming Denton is still injured Evans, O'Connor and Thompson have all played there. For balance I would have Evans or O'Connor at 7, Thompson at 8 and Williams at 6. All of those fit are much lighter, they have 2 weeks to work on Wil...

Re: Ben Youngs

One problem I see that Ben has to contend with at Leicester is our poor counter rucking, he so often is caught out trying to fish the ball out and gets knocked backwards by the opposition counter rucking and coming through, so always on the back foot, our guards must make a more solid defensive shie...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 6

Gibson, Saints, did a very similar job to Crofty, when he was here, hes not a lock, not a starter at Saints, do we want him back to steal line out ball for us?

Re: The Six Nations 2019

I cannot understand why Jones will not include Cipriani in his squads, he is a changed guy, playing extremely well, but Smith, OK for experience, is too predictable and easy to read. :smt017 :smt017 :smt017

They could scrummage like that LE18 but then leave Guy in the backfield for kick returns. I worry about Williams ball control though
I thought with Williams extra weight at 8 it would give us a more balanced shove, agree with Thompson hanging back though.
