Re: Tigers vs Worcester

They will pick Eastmond, I don't know why so many of you write him off? I also think Hughes could do a job in the centre, or start him on the wing, he looked like a tough guy who wanted to get stuck in last game he played. I don't get the calls for Viljoen, he was nowhere near the squad last home ga...

Re: 6 Nations 2020

Wasn't Farrell's reaction to the ref in just the same petulant manner?

Don't forget Brexit when calling for signing SH players, not that I think Brexit is any good at Hooking.

Re: Refereeing Question

Sorry I did mean In Goal Area, and No, it was knocked on by Scotland, Italy did not touch it, I certainly would have preferred to be given a 22 drop out, rather than have a Scrum 5 in a dangerous area. I did think that ref did well, neither Peyper today.

Re: Tomas Lavanini

Yeah Lavanini was poor last night. I think he was frightened by the yellow card he got last week and his past reputation. The 3 consecutive lineout offences seem to stop him competing and in fact we had to stop contesting any of Sales put ins. Ref pinged us for everything, not saying we didn't comm...

Re: Sale vs Leicester - 21st February 2020

The Tigers are rotten to the core, a BOD who put the club up for sale adding huge waves of uncertainty and don’t find a suitable buyer, crack on with the comical hotel and car park plans when you have a stand that is old and creaking and not fit for purpose. They have persisted in backing GM who is...

Refereeing Question

Just watching Italy v Scotland Scotland attacking, knock ball on, ball goes into Italy dead ball area, Referee blows for 5 mtr scrum to Italy, why did he not play advantage to Italy and allow them to touch down for a 22 dropout which would have cleared their line? Italy lose the scrum to a Scotland ...

Tomas played well tonight and really tried but every Sale line out ball was crooked.
Sorry to disagree, I think he had a poor game, worst he has had since arriving.

Well that is bad to worse. Reid hardly decapitated Yarde who looked like he had been taken out by a panzer tank. We look lost all ready.
Yarde went down but I think it was a leg or boot that caught his head, not the tackle.

Re: Sale vs Leicester - 21st February 2020

Its our forwards who are fault, they are being bullied everywhere, cant really blame backs, but Taute is being missed. Think we might really get done over in the second half!

Mrs F is away for the weekend so it’s 5 games of rugby and dirty food for me all weekend...winner! I just snuck into the Flashman family betting account and we are clearly not favourites! Sale have really short odds to win.
Think you may be right re the results, but here's hoping! :smt045

Re: Dai on his way! - now departed.

With two and a half years of his contract to go he will be getting a good golden handshake (£750k?) and he won't be laft to walk the streets for long. I'm sure when he thinks about he will see it as a new and exciting opportunity. Good luck to the man. :smt023 If he has walked away from the club, t...

Re: England v Ireland

Start Genge and bench Obano, but I know Jones will start Marler and bench the former. Marler's a fantastic loosehead. Definitely a better player than Obano. He doesn't put in as many big hits as Obano but is still the significantly stronger player in defence. No slight on Obano who deserves to be c...
