Re: Fans forum 13th Feb

We might have had some serious reverses last season, but it's worth recalling we did make the top four and got within a score of reaching the final. Oh, so that's alright then. I don't know what all the fuss is about. I should have been more explicit - broadly the same group of players (presumably ...

Re: Fans forum 13th Feb

So the squad will be smaller, a few tired bodies and injuries and the players that got hammered away by Wasps in the AWC and Saints 2nds in the A League will be running out, great idea, a trip to Jersey will be nice in 2020! So who's coming up from the Championship? If the promoted team 'do a Chief...

Can't argue with that.

Re: Tigers v Quins

Ben Teo has a few months out injured and comes straight back into the England team looking lean, sharp and fit. Manu returns to the Tigers team looking over weight, not sharp and not match fit. What does that tell us about the Worcester/Tigers fitness coaches and the players' attitude to diet? Even...

Re: The Six Nations Thread

As I said on the Haskell thread, he would be a brilliant addition to the Tigers squad/team. Yes he has an ebullient personality, but so what? Rugby clubs have traditionally dealt very well with players from all walks of life, with all manner of personalities. Never an issue, providing you are a tea...

I still believe in Manu.
My Nephew still believes in Father Christmas. Mind you, he is on 'The Spectrum'.

Re: Fans forum 13th Feb

Firstly thanks to everyone for all the Q & A 's from the night but did any of you notice MOC and his body language and dozy bored expression :smt017 ? - To me it looked as if he fell asleep 3 times then he yawned twice :smt015 then he coughed and screwed his face up in pain - we noticed he kept...

Somebody (Ged) I think said the squad will be smaller next season so with the new Signings coming in I wonder who is for the chop ?
Losing Manu is a no-brainer. Knowing Tigers, he's probably on a lifetime contract.

Re: The Six Nations Thread

A conclusive indication of Brown's ability can be found in his performances over the years - and I can't see why anyone would think he isn't a very good player. They're the same sort of people that swear down that Hartley shouldn't be England Captain because of his poor disciplinary record (despite...

Re: Premiership v Gloucester!

The fans on Facebook are right, the whole board should be held accountable, including Kay, for this mess and I know the fans shouldn’t be unfaithful but currently Tigers are a waste of precious supporter’s money at the moment. Well if Social Media is anything to go by, there wont be many season tic...

Re: MOC to be sacked?

I'm not sure why anyone expects anything different from press conferences etc. It's called media training, and it is what it is because Joe Public and the media are so quick to jump on anything said by coaches and players. No coach or player is (I hope) ever going to be as pessimistic and depressed...

Re: Fans forum 13th Feb

Sounds good to me. I wonder if those people saying the money Tigers "are spending" on this instead of players will be having an absolutely huge piece of humble pie tonight! Then again, I guess they will still have some excuse. I don't remember anyone suggesting that the money spent on clu...

Re: Tigers v Quins

If going by form, Tuilagi should not be selected but as has sadly been the case for the past three seasons in a more general sense, there seems little option but to stick with him in the diminishing and probably deluded hope that he will become a player worthy of the term "Marquee" and hi...

Yeah I'll ease off now ive destroyed him with facts. That'll be the day. I suppose the facts might be in there somewhere, but finding them amongst your shocking English is always going to be a tough job. So, opinions differ. No news there. However, meters and tackles made do not tell the full story...
