Re: England vs Italy
Italy did not play to win the game, they came to spoil the game and this they achieved. In the process Italy dumped what we call the "spirit of rugby" and in the long term did themselves no favours. If this is how they want to play, let them play against Georgia and then hopefully we will ...

Re: Treviso away fixture
Had a great time in Treviso. Good vocal Tigers supporters, and Treviso fans really friendly and good fun.First half was dry but second half played in strong wind and driving rain in last 20. Tigers controlled the game throughout, but Treviso never gave up. 10 points from possible 10 will do very nic...

Re: Treviso away fixture
Many thanks for all the very useful advice and info from various people, I knew the Tigers family would come up trumps. Hopefully the fixture details will be announced shortly and I can book flights etc. Cheers for now.

Treviso away fixture
Does anyone know when the away fixture in Treviso is due to be played please? We are longstanding Tigers fans living in Jersey, and although we have been to Welford Road and Twickenham on several occasions we have never been to an away European fixture. Any tips on travelling to Treviso would also b...

Re: the Cult of Saracens
Saracens are the Toulon of the Premiership, i.e. money is no object. They are backed by South African money and can afford to run up huge deficits. Tigers have built up a culture over many years of hard graft; they have not gone out and bought it. No, we do not want to be like the “London Boks”, Tig...

Dan Cole possi out for another six months due to neck injury
Dan Cole could be out until November after being told he will need surgery on a neck problem which has dogged him for months. Cole missed the final four months of the season after a problem flared up in training with England. Tigers had hoped a prolonged rest would help him make a full recovery, but...

Re: Tigers v Glaws
I cannot remember when Tigers played so badly two weeks running. They were lucky against Worcester last week and Glaws should have nailed us. Flood has his mind far away (South of France) and Ben Youngs was pedestrian at best. Start Melee and Williams next week with Salvi as captain, then we might g...

Goneva move to Castres
Today I read that Vereniki Goneva is moving to Castres.
Has this been confirmed or is this just a horrible rumour?

Re: Line Up for Jersey Game
Not moaning, as a ex professional sportsman, I cannot see any earthly reason for playing vastly inferior opposition as a precursor to the tough matches ahead...... This was not a Jersey team that has been playing for a long time together, as we have made many new signings. so it was just as importa...

Line Up for Jersey Game
Hi I'm a life long tigers supporter from Jersey. Does anyone know what the line up for the Jersey game is, I can't wait for the game but I'm slightly conflicted about where my loyalties should lie - with my home or the team I've supported from birth/for 15 years.

Happy to oblidge North East Tiger, one large slice of humble pie eaten. A couple of months ago I said that Tait was not worthy to wear the shirt;I'm happy to eat my words as well as the humble pie. Tait deserved his Man of the match award and we can rest easy..............he can fill smurf's shoes.

Re: New Kit design - unveiled today
Not good, really needed something much better after the last one. Looks like a London Irish cast off(as mentioned previously.)Pleased I bought a few of the last Cotton shirts. Little thought has gone into the design, better to go back to a classic Tigers shirt. These will not sell well and will be he...
