Re: Bill W RIP

Very sorry to hear this. Bill jokingly put his two pennies worth in a few times in response to some of my posts and I occasionally looked at his answers with mild annoyance but he was a stalwart of the forum and had some excellent viewpoints and knowledge. Tigers have a lost a true fan in Bill. Rest...

Re: Ticket pricing

I have to agree with what I thought was silly pricing. I paid £35 (YAFTS as I am a student) for a seat in the Met-RX. I'm not a regular visitor to WR, I usually watch Nottingham and unfortunately for me today just reinforced why. At Nottingham I pay £15 to sit. If I get the train- 1st class- a day o...

Re: Friendly Match

I have a hunch it might be Nottingham. Word from the Bay is that we're trying to arrange a home friendly for that particular weekend. It was supposed to be announced some point this week according to the club newsletter. Of course I may be totally wrong....;)

Re: Championship Final

Cracking game. I was backing Bristol but I don't particularly want to play either of them again next season!! 2nd leg will be a cracker but agree Bristol might be stuffed without Henson.

Re: Tom Price

He's been doing ok for us (Nottingham) but one thing that strikes me is how erm.. Pugilistic he's been (ie he likes a scrap :smt004) Seriously though I think we will miss him. He's done well.

Just as an aside Catchpole had a solid performance for Doncaster against Nottingham and Javiah Pohe put in another good performance in the Notts centres.

Re: Why do people leave the ground early?

I never leave early. However I will not apologise for having to go to the toilet when I have to go. I have a fairly major disability which means when I have to go, I have to go and I cannot always wait for a break in play. I personally don't complain when anyone else does it either, but I can't unde...

Re: Current Leicester Players in the lower leagues!

Pohe was brilliant for us, making a nuisance of himself and making some crunching tackles. Sadly he eventually succumbed to the cramp that had been bothering him all game. Nothing serious though. Tom Price for some reason had greatly displeased a Rotherham player who was promptly sinned for punching...

Re: Sarries 23 this week?

I did wonder why Tigers felt it necessary to deprive us (Nottingham) of one of our best players for our biggest game of the season just to make him sit on the bench..however if Crane is subsequently unfit to play that's sort of understandable but extremely annoying nonetheless. There's a fair few an...

He scored a cracking try for us on Friday night. He's always played at 8 for us- never seen him at lock. That may potentially be interesting...

Re: Congratulations RWC for ticket farce

I'm off to see the All Blacks v Tonga at St James Park, the only match I applied for. We applied for a wheelchair place which I suppose there may have been less demand for but we were still surprised we got them. Given the volume of applications against the amount available I knew there would be lot...

Re: What's happening to Leicester's academy?

All the talk is always about 'oh look at what we've generated in the past' who was the most recent Academy graduate to really make it? Manu? And how long ago was that? Five years? Yes ok there's some good current players come from the Academy but in recent years not many of em have got very far. The...
