Re: Tigers @ Gloucester - Friday 24th September 2021 - 1945

Not sure about George at the moment, I’ve noticed that since the start of the season his body language hasn’t look good. He was very low profile leading up to the resumption of the season which led to certain media speculation regarding his future at Welford Road since the departure of his father. I...

Re: Tigers vs Exeter - Saturday 18th September 2021 - 1500

Regarding missing players. If you notice it’s only the media bunnies that make it into a big issue. I didn’t hear it once from either of the coaches. Rob Baxter and Borthwick are both consummate professionals who’s philosophy is you play who is available against a team that is front of you. There ar...

Re: Tigers vs Exeter - Saturday 18th September 2021 - 1500

The defence was awesome, but what do you expect when we have probably the finest Rugby League player of our era as defence coach. Definitely one of the Tigers best signings in the last few decades, with possibly, the exception being, Tim Stimpson, the hero of Paris 2001.

Re: Tigers vs Dragons - Saturday 4th September

Can someone please ask the person in charge of the camera angles to stop switching so often. You miss so much of the action when viewing the game from ground level. We missed two tries today because of that angle. :smt018 Why do you think the coaches sit in the stands to watch the game. :smt017

Re: Rassie vs The World

After watching the video by Rassie Erasmus I can clearly understand this guy’s frustrations with current officiating guidelines and the non application of said guidelines and referee inconsistencies, especially in Test Matches such as these. Many of us, and players especially, have at some time, bee...

Re: It was 10 years ago...

I remember it quite well perhaps for all the wrong reasons. When the Tigers came out of the tunnel at the start of the game they were actually booed on to the pitch by the Cardiff fans, in all my years following rugby union I had never experienced that before. I thought it was an absolute disgrace, ...

Tigers v Treviso Score

What was it ? I cannot find the score anywhere on the website. Is this going to be normal practice, when we get beat we don’t bother publishing the scoreline !!! :smt102

Re: Tigers Vs Gloucester

Toomua looked really good and his reading of the game, resulting in timely covering tackles were also excellent. Nick Malouf is not a huge chap but never takes a step back in the tackle, he made some telling hits in the second half, and he is very sharp at pace. Both excellent prospects. :smt023

Re: Team up v Munster!

I would also like to thank Brendon O'Connor for his immense game, he secured at least three turnovers, this was the area we were sadly lacking at last week. Furthermore Owen Williams final kick was Stimpson reincarnated, anyone remember Paris ? Congratulations to all the team on a must win performan...

Re: Clermont

The only time I can remember Tigers winning a Heineken Cup match with Rolland in charge was when we played Cardiff in 2009 on their patch. The Tigers were 26 - 12 up with 6 minutes remaining. Rolland yellow carded two Leicester players and Cardiff recovered to draw the game at the 80 minute mark. So...

I must agree the screen is exceptional. However I would like to see the countdown clock incorporated into the screen instead of the small little box below it. :smt045
