Re: BT sport to become internet only starting in January.

To be honest I think a moderator should alter the title of this thread as it is very misleading.

Re: Salary cap expected to rise

The 24 age cap thing is being removed so any home grown player will be eligible including Ben Youngs, Tom Croft, Dan Cole and more.

Re: Watching Clermont game online

I've been making a few investigations on how to do this, as I'm away from home this weekend, and I think it should be possible to catch it without using a p2p site or paying Murdoch. In France, the match is being shown on FR2, a public broadcast channel, which you can simply watch on line! http://w...

Re: Leeds re-branding

'Secondly, Tigers fans must realise that we're in an incredibly fortunate position in that we have a great club, steeped in the community that does well on a national and international level. There are only half a dozen areas in the WHOLE COUNTRY who can boast similar.' That is the Leeds with the w...

Re: 'Tis the season to be stupid!

In this case the road was clear of cars so I was looking out for pedestrians (usually dressed in black ) and cyclists ( no lights ) - at about 8pm Sunday night, raining. I made the mistake of concentrating looking atthe road ahead instead of my speedo. The only reason I mentined the 35 mph was that...

Re: Ridiculously priced infant kit

Canterbury have a stupid approach, stupid in meaning not sensible or appropriate. Exploitative would also be another word. I expect that a £45 item cost less than £5 cost at all stages of production. It costs 20pence approx. to ship a pair of jeans from china to the uK. There's only a limited marke...

Re: Ridiculously priced infant kit

Well a clue to understanding it is that when a child is born you want to celebrate it's birth with some Tiger gear. The child grows so you have to decide when, what and if to buy. I won't buy an Aston Martin but I could afford a second hand Fiesta. The clothing market we are talking about effective...

Re: Ridiculously priced infant kit

I fundamentally don't understand this type of thread.

If you think it is too dear, don't buy it. If enough people do that, the price will decrease.

If plenty of people are buying the item, obviously it has been priced quite accurately.

Re: 'Tis the season to be stupid!

In truth the police should just close the roads around the stadium for 20-30 mins after the final whistle to allow the area to clear. There have been plenty of accidents which could be avoided.

Re: Tigers vs Quins

YBH we are going to have to disagree. If all the professional players, coaches and refs I've dealt with can understand the situation that is fine with me. If you feel that insulting people with an opposing view enhances your argument that is your prerogative. I certainly don't find the majority of ...

Re: Tigers vs Quins

Love the fact that this thread has turned into a debate about the laws around forward passes!! I personally prefer the old laws (the ball is measured against the pitch, momentum excluded) and I seem to remember a lot of running rugby, great passes, etc. (England of 2003; New Zealand in 8 of the las...
