Absolutely delighted, very much an early christmas present.

Hoping he will bring some southern hemisphere ideas as well as already knowing the Tigers ethos - best of both worlds.

As already said, why can't he start immediately, not that I am impatient!

I did look at this post yesterday, but did not leave a reply. I do wish the boy and his family well and hope he makes a full recovery, but I dont always feel the need to make my thoughts and opinions public - I think a lot of people may feel the same way as I do.

Speaking to Tom just before Christmas, he told me that he was just starting back in training and he personally hopes to be back fit around March.

Anything but "pet ref" stood with the Leinster Supporters - their view of Mr Owens is on a par with ours. They were dreading it.

We were lucky enough to get tickets and were front and centre on the terraces with the Leinster supporters. All I can say is that it was an absolutely fantastic atmosphere with all the singing and chanting throughtout the match and it carried on for over an hour afterwards - videos are on You Tube. ...

Also spoke to Matt at the Saints game, he is back into light training with not too much impact, but as previously said, he is one very fustrated Tiger at the moment.

You will find that Sarries have been boosting their crowds by handing out up to 5 free tickets to their sponsors employees, but for the semi final as this is governed by ERC their are no free tickets available (as yet anyway. Geordan was performing as "waterboy" throughout the match, but not once did he hand out any water bottles.

What he was handing out was "advice" in no undercertain terms looking at the hand gestures and facial expressions!

Perfect for a pre-christmas beer run to the Belgium off-licence - excellent.

But I would be wearing my Tigers colours, watching and supporting Sarries is probably too much!
