Is there any sanction against a clearly incompetent ref? He could be removed from the panel. The disciplinary hearings ruled he should have issued three red cards. Did this alter the outcome of the game? What's more - if he had issued the first red for gauging he would not have needed to issue the ...

Could this be the first step to an Anglo-French club super league, i.e. excluding the Celtic franchises? There is a separate thread on this.
