Re: tigers vs SA

That ws just awesome!!!!! Leicester Tigers, the new world champions. The pack totally outplayed the boks, Youngs has to start every game from now on, Castro back to his best, great game from Parling and Manu will frighten the living daylights out of the rest of the Premiership, especially Varndell a...

Re: Expectation Management

Considering the number of injuries we have, especially in key positions, and the fact that four of our six games in the league have been away from home, our position is as healthy as we could have expected. Sooner or later, our injured players will return and we will start to improve both our result...

Re: Castro and 12Trees

Totally agree about Crane. He got turned over far too much for a big guy and made several poor decisions. Youngs needed to come on earlier (after about 50 mins) and Billy on at 10 may have given us more attacking options.

Re: Moody and Croft

I thought Moody had a great second half and Croft was good in patches but Crane is just too one dimensional. He does not seem to have the impact of say a Xavier Rush or a Parisse. Add one of those two to a backrow of Croft and Moody and we would have the best back row in Europe.

Re: Deano given rapturous reception.

I can fully understand why people are sitting on the fence. As much as Deano made a huge error of judgement both during the Leinster match and the cover up afterwards, I still have a lot of affection for him from my memories of him as a player. It is difficult as much to forgive and forget as it is ...

Re: Leicester Tigers 1st XV

I agree that it is pure fantasy and apologies for not living in the real world. I was just interested in what people thought might be the strongest line up for a full strength Tigers squad.

Leicester Tigers 1st XV

Assuming we had a fully fit squad of players and taking into account the form of those who have been playing, what would be our starting XV for the Ospreys. I have had a go. 15. G. Murphy 14. S. Hamilton 13. D. Hipkiss 12. A. Mauger 11. A. Tualagi 10. T. Flood 9. H. Ellis 8. J. Crane 7. L. Moody 6. ...

Re: When are we going to start to play Rugby

I agree that the game was frustrating and that the skill levels were poor. Nevertheless, how many teams in the Premiership could lose as many quality players to injury as the Tigers have and still record two wins from three. Over half the team contained players who were 2nd or in some cases 3rd choi...

Re: Tonights game.........post match review

Every time I see Dan Cole I am impressed. He scrummages well, he is mobile and very destructive in the rucks.
