Re: Next seasons season ticket
I’d need more information. Keeping the price the same for fewer games is not something that should be celebrated. Are we considering taking Saudi money? If so, I would have to consider not renewing on moral grounds (my choice - many will disagree). If a price increase keeps the Saudis out - I would ...

Very frustrating!
We can’t even hope for Saracens to lose as that would mean we would be hoping for Sale to win!

Are our South Africans currently in Leicester?
They have had some time off. Hope they have not been allowed home as travel from there is now banned.

Re: Saints pinch the Lightning!
Always slightly disappointing to see "Tigers" (local players) associated with Northampton - but that's professionalism I guess.
I hope both Sam and Emily remember that they are from Desford not Desborough and return to their roots in the future.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD Part 2
So….trying to get my head around what - I think - I know (I may well be wrong!). Leicester need to make cost saving in order to survive. We can only spend what we earn. We are a PLC and are not “owned” by anyone who is going to put money in, to pay players who cannot be supported by the business. Al...

Does anyone know why there has been no reporting on the Tigers on the Mercury website since 23 April?

Re: Borthwick
I seems fairly clear to me that there has been an agreement in place for many months that he would join after the six nations. I also read that he has to give 3 months notice. Hence the timing of handing in notice and announcing new appointment 3 months before the end of the six nations. It's only r...

Say it to his face!
I'm sure the players read the boards.
Do you want him to be seen as second rate before he has a chance?
Welcome Joe - let's see what you've got!

Re: ANY SPECIAL MEMORIES?
Fading with time - but...... John Carlton carrying Les Cusworth 20m(ish) on his back. Barry Evans going round Mike Slemen for a hat trick against the Barbarians. Again, Barry Evans giving Martin Offiah 5m from half way - turning and catching him before the try line (vs Rosslyn Park). Darren Garforth...

If people ask - I have always said he is the best non Tigers player I ever saw live (him and Michael Jones).

What are they feeding them at Oval Park?
Not sure what they get for lunch but it’s doing the job.
Last week The Mercury described Will Spencer as six foot five. Earlier this week he was six foot six. I notice now, he is up to six seven!
I’m expecting an eight foot giant by the time we get to see him in a tigers shirt!

Re: Tigers v Newcastle Falcons
When is the last time we put out a team that we could say “that’s our best team” with no injuries to first choice players?
No excuses now!!
