Re: Transfer Rumours
As for Benjamin, if we were to sign him I would perhaps think about letting Hamilton go as well as he isnt starting at the moment any way and Idont really see him as an impact sub either. I have to say I don't agree with this. Hamilton is in awful form at the moment and doesn't deserve to start, bu...

Re: A year on, and the same tactics
i have no problem with them picking manu at 12, hes got all the attributes to be a great 12, but we actually need to make the opposite team commit numbers to the breakdown as any top team can defend when they are organised. it would have made absolutely no difference if 12Ts had played against cler...

Re: Flood
Being toothless in the backs is not down to who's playing it's down to coaching and it's been like that for ages now. Who actually picks the squad Cockerill or O'Connor? Has it been like that for ages? We were scoring tries for fun at the beginning of the season as I remember. I think the main prob...

Re: Flood
A lot of overreaction on here I think. The pack did pretty well against a really strong Clermont 8. This is a side who haven't lost at home since 2009. We looked toothless in the backs. I think this was largely due to playing Smith and Tuilagi. Twelvetrees at 12, Tuilagi at 13 and maybe Smith in pla...

Re: Salary Cap exemption
Apart from a hooker I'd love to see us sign a quality, pacey winger. We have enough battering rams in the team without the likes of Jamie Roberts – I'd like to see Ngwenya flying down the touchline instead. Or alternatively we could just keep Tait fit.

Re: Leicester v Ulster
I know Ben Youngs has received a little bit of stick in some quarters for not being in his best form, but I think the last few weeks have shown what an absoluteley integral part he is of the team. Tigers produced a highlights reel before the final last year, showing a selection of our tries and wha...

Re: Is it it time to thank Cockers for his efforts?
I get frustrated with some of Cockers' decisions, but I think he's done pretty well so far at the club. It's easy to imagine everything would be better with a change of coach but I often think consistency is undervalued. However I WOULD like to see a little less consistency in his continued selectio...

Re: Players I'd love to see outside of their comfort zones.
Poor unfortunate Tait. He arrived with a "sicknote" tag and it has, unfortunately, proved to be very apt. That's a bit unfair – he's had one serious injury before moving to Tigers as far as I know. Then since moving to us he's picked up another, unrelated, injury. He's not exactly the onl...

I hope you're right, but Hawkins never really did, despite some impressive appearances.Pretty good team. Disappointed not to see Youngs start but he will get his chance.
I am worried about the centers though.

Is expected to be out for 6-8 weeks apparently. Should be back for the WC but will miss at least the first two of the warm-ups.

Re: Forgotten Heros
I was thinking about Aadel Kardooni when I opened this thread!
What about TIm Stimpson? Does he count as forgotten? I was so excited when we signed him from West Hartlepool... (although Wikipedia says he came from Newcastle... That true?)

Re: Billy Twelvetrees and jordan Crane - Eng Saxons - Churchill
I don't think many people want 12T starting ahead of Allen... What I would like is for 12T to be on the bench instead of Staunton more often, covering FH and 12 and getting more game time, so we can see if he really has what it takes to be challenging Allen's place in the first team.
