Hi there, I recently discovered that my Great Grandfather, Frederick Hine, played in this match at Welford Road on 17th April 1911. Hinckley won 18-0. Unfortunately there is not much information about the match. I found a short report in the Hinckley Echo dated 19th April 1911. I have the Hinckley C...

You could always send a card or message to the club who will forward it on to the player concerned

Re: A visit to Oxford in October
Not too hot on hotels in Oxford. The Ashmoleon Museum should be open on a Sunday. Also the Botanical Gardens in High Street may be open and they are right on the river. The Kassam Stadium is on the outside of the ring road. You will need to make use of taxis or public transport. Try this link http:/...

Re: Oxford Welsh
That's the same route more or less that we use from Carterton. As you say reasonably quiet on the Fosse Way. Oxford ring road on a Sunday should be ok but can be a pig for even the most minor of incidents on the A43 or A34

Re: Oxford Welsh
To those of us living in Oxfordshire High Wycombe is the other side of the Chilterns, out of Oxfordshire and therefore not local. 4 - 6000 might be a bit optimistic. Oxford is not a great place to generate excitement amongst spectators.

It could be that Tom doesn't want the information made generally available for some reason. Where I work the policy is that if someone is off work the customer is advised that the person is absent but no reason offered. All down to data protection I believe.

Re: Falcons staying up
An absolute disgrace. As long as they can play the games on the specified week end what is the problem :smt013 Quite. There are ocassions when there is a fixture clash between Tigers and the Foxes. In these instances they take it in turns to move the fixture to a different time or day. The Kassam s...

Re: Harlequins & The Title
Seemed like a polite question to me. And an equally polite reply. Another question could be 'Are they all going to be naked in the semi-finals?' . My apologies for any poor punctuation.
