Re: Team V Ulster
A friend of mine works as one of the Ulster backroom staff. On the plane back from Toulon they were really annoyed about something Cockers said about them after their loss. My friend said they were going to stuff us like no team before. They were angry. We look clueless, as nobody heard of a grubber ...

Webber is in the Saxon squad, so Lancaster can't rate his set piece.mightymouse wrote:Hartly is a loose cannon yobbo and I would never have him in a team of mine - If Youngs set piece is not good enough then use Webber, who is a very good player , and bring Youngs off the bench

Re: Aimless kicking
That is not what killed us. We need to learn and play the Ref. The Ref didn't have a bad game but as soon as a ruck formed Quins came in from anywhere and got hands on the ball. He let them, and they got turnover ball or a penalty. Instead of us shaking our heads we should have done exactly the same...

Re: Hartley gone again!
I agree, he went down and then as you say gets up quickly. IMO too quickly - had the force been enough to put him down in the first place? A decent, clean strike to the nose and chin will always result in falling over, it's unavoidable as your knees melt. You can often bounce straight back up again...

Re: Hartley gone again!
is Matt Smith looking for a move to WWE or a career in acting after his playing days are over? Disappointingly disingenuous to Matt Smith :smt009 Don't think so? He milked it, so worthy of a satrical comment or too IMO. I think you are out of order TigerCam. Matt Smith is a true Pro for Tigers. If ...

Re: Saints let off.
TBH JP Doyle wanted to give a Yellow, it was the TMO who had the necessaries to award a Red. This is why refs should allow TMOs to make a decision when asked and not refer a decision and then take it upon themselves to adjudicate at pitch side. The TMO is in not in the heat of the event, they can u...

Re: Farrell must go..!!!
Surely now this Beckamesque fraud, whose only two attributes are kicking a dead ball brilliantly and tackling, one more than Beckham admittedly, must now be permantly retired from any England set up, along with Daddy. And Stancaster as well... As a lot on here having been saying for years, this pla...

Re: Eng 28- SA 32
I'm afraid it's not as simple as that. He's been unavailable for selection several times due to similar offences at Premiership level but apart from that it's also the nature of the offences for the cards he's received. Really ? In the six years since he was first cap when has Hartley missed an Eng...

Re: Eng 28- SA 32
Three yellow cards in sixty appearances does not constitute a liability, particularly if the key part of your game is top class. Matfield, Habana, and Burger have seventeen international yellow cards between them. Michael Hooper has received five international yellow cards in forty games. Our own l...

Re: Eng 28- SA 32
There was nothing wrong with the two wingers yesterday. If they were passed to it would have helped. It is not the fact Hartley and other International's get yellow carded, It is the amount of penalties Hartley gives away, He is a petulant nasty player. I think Young's would be picked in front of hi...

Re: England XV vs SA
Doesn't matter if the entire country was in the EPS if you select the wrong players anyway. The basic problem remains the back row and the half backs and the way they're playing. Think it will be another loss at the weekend. I have to agree with G.K. The best teams in the world have an out and out ...

Slade and can kick, attack, defend and pass. Ford, Myler, Farrell, Cipriani and Burns only possess 3 of these 4 talents.
Give Slade a go.

Re: Time for Cockerill to go
Let us give Cockers a full squad to pick from, 3 games in a row and then make a judgement. Try taking a flock of sheep with your two best dogs injured and going with two lesser experienced dogs across a fell back to the farm. The young dogs try their best, but can get in a mess. The farmer doesn't s...
