Re: **UPDATE - Leicester Tigers Cycling Shirt***

I can't tell how much of this is tongue-in-cheek and how much is serious?

I always take the view that if you're considerate to everyone on the road by and large everyone will rub along just fine.

Re: Professionalism and kit

Thanks for the info re: previous discussions. My response would be that you cannot solely market online. You need a high street presence. Re: CT and Next, I think linking kit and sponsorship is a hindrance, we should seek out other sponsors who might want to takeover if there is no movement from Nex...

Re: Professionalism and kit

We went with Caterpillar after years with Aggregate. We're getting new sponsors in, we should get a new kit sponsor in. In terms of the uniqueness, that's disappearing anyway for various reasons - the requirement for a light kit and a dark kit (requiring an emphasis on the green over the red and whi...

Professionalism and kit

Professionalism. The word pops up all the time. We sell players who we would have kept on years ago because of "professionalism". We have to be more commercial as a club because of "professionalism". So on and so forth. I understand this, I think most fans do. I also think the cl...

Re: Mauger - retires due to back injury

This is a real shame. He was without question one of the best All Blacks of his generation. In my opinion, he was the player they missed the most after the great post-world cup exodus. It's always a shame when injury stops a career short. However, I'd urge him to look at this as the start of a new c...

D'oh! you beat me to it. I'll delete mine...

I like the look of this team. Looks like we'll be attacking a lot more than the Autumn.

Are Guinness Premiership teams being held back by England?

This might sound a bit provocative but it is a conclusion I'm increasingly drawn towards. The national team's descent from champions to also rans has, I feel, coincided with GP teams' decline. Our young players haven't developed in the way the Irish, Welsh and French players have. They haven't had t...

Re: Mauger to leave, so hope this makes room for Lote

It's official, he's off back to Canterbury

I think he's one of the best centre's in the world and it's a great loss for us. Sorry to see him go, but glad I got to watch him play - very few players draw that sentiment out in me.

Re: Venter charged.......

Hello, my name's Brendan Venter and I'm above the law. Also, I just want to say that even though I coach a team full of internationals, it's the referees who make the players play unimaginative, negative, territorial, kick and clap rugby, not me.

This is such sad news. When he was commentating, his voice was so familar it was like sitting down with a good friend to watch rugby on the telly.

Simpsons

20 years on and still funny.

Guardian's got a list of their top 20 moments. http://bit.ly/7BIKJG

My top moment is when Homer stops James Bond escaping from Hank Scorpio's henchmen, Bond gets killed. Later, Homer tells the family he stopped a slacker at work.

What's your favourite Simpsons moment?

Re: Travelling to the game this weekend

Thanks for the train tip. When I say I'm coming from Nottingham, I'm actually driving from Surrey to a small village between Notts and Leicester from where I'm going to travel down with family, so the train' not viable. Sounds like the drive should be fine according to the news, so fingers crossed. ...
