Plans for next season

Leicester Tigers have avoided relegation by the narrowest of margins. Regardless of the points difference at the end of the season, if the referee had not awarded a penalty in the 84th minute of the game against Newcastle it is likely that we would have been relegated. It was that close! So we look ...

Re: Sale vs Tigers

Anybody found an internet commentary for this. The normal Radio Leicester link doesn’t seem to be working again.

Re: Away Trip to Castres

Just in case anyone hasn't got tickets and was intending to get them at the ground - Castres website currently has a buy one get one free special offer on tickets for the game if you book on line.

Re: Can we please see our own salary cap announcement like t

Oh dear - I can't even post what i am really thinking because I don't want to be over alarmist, but no-one should underestimate the potential seriousness and future knock-on effect of all this on Leicester Tigers. The problem is the not knowing which causes speculation. This could be remedied by a s...

Re: Can we please see our own salary cap announcement like t

This subject is now being picked up by the BBC http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-union/34669989 This article states that 8 clubs have confirmed that they are not one of the clubs involved in making agreements with premier rugby. Unfortunately Leicester is not one of the eight clubs. Add London Iris...

Re: Can we please see our own salary cap announcement like t

I would strongly encourage the club to issue a press release on this matter. This episode of cheating is just as bad as those guilty of using performance enhancing drugs in other sports. I want to know that my club is not involved. If.nothing is said then there is a suspicion of involvment or collus...

Re: Tigers v Treviso

Good to see that you were all able to watch the game from the environs of the beer tent. Good to meet you all - enjoyed the sing song in the pub last night - our voices are still suffering. We luckily managed to fly out this morning despite the fog - hope you get sorted OK - or just enjoy another ni...

Re: Treviso Match

For what it's worth the Treviso site has the game scheduled for 1435 Saturday. However, I'm still waiting for the official announcement before booking the return flights - we've been caught out before with these Italian fixtures - remember Aironi moving the game to Milan for instance. According to t...

Re: Treviso Match

The date of the round 5 & 6 matches were announced this week last year, so hopefully we will know in a day or so. We have booked outbound flights, but not the return just in case the match is on Sunday, if it's not we will return on Sunday. If anyone has any advance info it would be useful - fli...

Re: Tigers vs Quins

It's now a week since I initially raised the question about this forward pass. Thanks for all the replies - I'm amazed at the amount of discussion this has raised which I think highlights that many recognise a real problem. Since last week, I've re-watched the video a few times - full speed, slow mo...

Re: Tigers vs Quins

Whilst on the subject of refereeing decisions, I felt when watching live that the pass that led to the second try was forward. The ref referred it to the TMO. The replays clearly showed that the pass was made a yard outside the 22. The pass was received well inside the 22 - so the ball went forward....

Apologies - Fox was the ref.

I didn't watch the game, but read the report on the Premiership rugby website which has Garner as the ref - sorry for the confusion and original post now edited

Re: Referees

Austin Healey has just called the ref (Martin Fox) 'an absolute disgrace' on TV in his after match summing up of the Gloucester vs Saints game. It appears that a refs performance has again decided the winning team for the second week running.
