Re: Worcester (A) 16th October - 3pm

That's a strong side! It needs to be. The Wuss have fallen just short so far, other than the drubbing by the Chiefs. They will be well up for it. The guys have to adapt quickly with the integration of the Ints coming back. SB will expect every last drop from them before they head off again for the ...

Re: Well done, Wasps

Maybe someone should have a word with Worcester about referring to our "African Tribesmen" in their poetic review of this weekends game? Some may find that offensive and racist. http://www.sportnetwork.net/main/s130/www.sportnetwork.net/main/130/st202352.htm What a lot of waffling tosh! Agreed stra...

Re: Worcester (A) 16th October - 3pm

Impossible to try and predict Borthwick's team selection, all we know is that it will be a team capable of winning. I will be going to Worcester hoping (with a certain amount of confidence) that we will win. I have just heard that the club has sold out on one coach to travel and are adding at least...

Re: London Irish (A) Sat 9th Oct & Worcester (A) Sat 16th Oct

No JvP If its not injury or rest I would guess its because LI score a lot of 2nd half points and we may want Wigglesworth to close the game out I would imagine this is the likely reason.. makes sense He did seems to get an insignificant knock in the second half but seemed to run it off, maybe it is...

Re: Weakened Saracens side

I care very little how the media try to sell their media/get their clickbait. If they want to talk missing Sarries players then so be it. I'm not fussed. Mako, Koch and Itoje would have undoubtedly added something but so would have Montoya, Weise, van Staden and Moroni. At the end of the day you pl...

Re: Progress under Borthwick 2021/22

It's obvious we're doomed. Stuart Barnes says we'll beat Sarries tomorrow and we are title contenders. Kiss of death :smt005 I thought the same myself when i read the article in the paper (sorry, its behind The Times paywall). Barnesy even put his hand up to "commentator's curse" :smt005 if the Tig...

Gulp! Like most here, I'm a little startled by the selection but I'm 200 miles away so what do I know?

Re: AUTUMN INTERNATIONALS 2021

Wouldn’t read too much into the training squad to be honest, Ford showed he’s still the best 10 in England so I’ve no doubt he’ll be starting in the autumn. Surprised JVP didn’t get the nod over Quirke, maybe Tigers bias. Both great 9s and could see them both being in the WC squad... Well, England'...

Can anyone tell me what our red zone strike rate was like? Only watched the highlights but looked very good on there, that was our biggest problem last season imo.
If I remember correctly, I believe it was shown to be 4.43 compared to Exeter 1.73?

I wonder if Bristol's management are getting nervous already lol.
After Sarries performance last night it might not just be the Bears getting twitchy? A good performance by Sarries and without 8 first choice players too.

Re: How to watch French Rugby?

IMO, don, a dark blue beret, a white / blue (horizontal stripped) T shirt, a necklace of garlic bulbs - here's the good bit - consume vast quantities of Vin Rouge and utter "Sacre Bleu" at every juncture where the game is not going your way.

Re: Saracens

IMO Sarries will make the playoffs> They have had a year in which to re-set and rejuvinate against lesser opposition. Looking forward to their trip to Welford Road, a good bench mark to see where both teams are.
