Re: England match - Toby injured, Robshaw brain-dead.

Everythings going to be alright because Engiand are going to take the POSITIVES from the game yet again. I think its about time they concentrated on the the negatives then they may improve!!!!!!!!

Re: Today's Game

Ford had a poor game with his kicking but I thought his kicking out of hand was decent. Yes, that's all very well, but decent kicking out of hand doesn't balance five missed penalties - none of them particularly difficult. Some posters on this forum have been calling for Ford to replace Flood for s...

Re: What do you say about that then doom mongers?

We are not going to get the heads up style of rugby that people want with this management team so we just have to accept it. Its no good blaming the ref everytime we lose we have to accept we were beaten by a better team, we can't win every game. Tigers will be there at the end of the season, of tha...

Re: George Ford

I'd assume 'obviously' as it's their job and they actually know ALL the facts. However, he's starting on Friday, so we should be able to see if he can live upto the hype! Your going to judge the hype on 1 game are you? At least wait until the lad has a run of games which he will get when Toby is aw...

Re: Tigers v Quins

Who is in line to take Fords place if he were to pick up an injury. Perhaps Cockers is protecting him , knowing that Flood is going to be away with England So might Ford be as well at least Lancaster rates him, Maybe Cockers is under instructions to keep Ford under wraps so England could unleash hi...

Re: George Ford

If Flood had been playing well the last 2 games i could understand Ford not getting any game time but he hasn't so you would have expected Ford to have been brought on as a potential game changer. Only Cockers can tell you why he wasn't, Does he not think George is capable? does he not trust him? So...

Re: Are Tigers the new Chokers?

Let's just look at a simple stat here - 8 consecutive finals and only 3 wins. That's choking in anyone's book. I'm actually quite angry about today. What game plan exactly was Cockers playing? Wear 'em down in the forwards in traditional Tigers attritional style and mop up in the last 20? On a cold...

Re: Ford MUST replace Flood

How much longer are we going to have to wait for Flood to mature? He is 26 going on 27, if he hasn't matured by now he is never going to. This is has been an ongoing debate for far to long and i m sick and fed up of hearing all the excuses for him. He was absolutely pathetic in the last quarter, tha...

Re: Cipriani for tigers ?

I would happily see talented players at Tigers, whether Cipriani, Henson or any others. I think we have the lesson of Lote to guide us! Unfortunately I feel that Tigers would go for Stephen Jones over James Hook, for example. There is currently a certain mind-set....... Will he remain so after bein...

Sale target George Ford

Report out today that sale are targeting Ford, the same column that reported Billy was going to Gloucester 2 weeks ago and has got several other transfers right.
Lets hope we are not going to lose another young player.
Also reported that Bowden is very close to a deal with Tigers.
