Re: Mini review and look forward
I think we can win all of our remaining home games, Northampton is a long way off and we could well look like a different team by then. It needs to start with wins in the LV to build momentum and then a win away to London Irish, If we can get a good win away from home then we can definitely make the...

Re: Team V Ulster
I try to stay positive but that was just pathetic. We were never likely to make it through today but a big result would have set us up well for the rest of the season. Positives are Tait once again, he's been our best player recently and we are really going to miss him next year. At home we are star...

Re: EEC Round 6 permutations
Or a Montpellier Win, Bath Draw and Clermont win with a Bonus point win of 20+ would put us through.TigerTom15 wrote:Also, if we beat ulster by 35+, a glasgow win and a Sarries loss (even with a lbp) could see us through.

Re: EEC Round 6 permutations
Clermont can definitely beat Saracens by more than 7 points at home. I think Wasps will get a Losing Bonus Point but Quins will beat Castres with a Bonus point. Toulose will beat Montpellier and probably with a bonus point and a draw between Bath and Glasgow is unlikely. So I would go with Saracens ...

Re: Scarlets at home
Job done, played well in parts but also poor in parts. Being realistic it won't change our fate in this competition but if we can follow this up with a big result in Ulster then it could be the momentum we need for the season.

Re: Scarlets at home
Great start and then we just switch off
At least we have 2 tries so halfway to what we need. Tait is having another great game as well, probably the form 15 in England atm.

Re: croft
Croft has had a long term injury, that doesn't change the fact that he is one of the best back row players in the northern hemisphere. Letting him go would be a massive mistake, give him time to find his form and he will come good.

Re: JP Doyle vs Saracens
I can not see there being any truth in this. The idea that a group of professional rugby players pinned a ref up against a wall is just a bit much, One player possibly but a group no.
Would think we would have heard something from the media if this is true as well.

Re: Quins game - Teams Up!!
We seem to be playing one offload too many at the moment, right idea just forcing it a bit much. Tait is having a great game as is Kitchner, we are still very much in this game and if we tighten up a little bit I am sure we can get the result.

Re: Quins game - Teams Up!!
Gloucester 24 Saracens 23, 2 sensational tries for Gloucester and a monster kick to win it from Hook in the 81st minute. Worrying to see 2 guys stretchered off though.
Big result for us, a win tomorrow will put us level on points with Saracens.

Re: Saracens leading the way
I don't think anything will improve without drastic action. One option would be for the IRB(or whatever they are now) to put a cap on the number of hours players can spend in the weights room, if they spend more time out on the training pitch instead of pumping iron they will lose muscle mass and th...

Saracens leading the way
They trialled a new impact measuring device to monitor impacts to the head in yesterdays game against London Irish. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-union/30671380 I don't like a lot of what they have done in recent times but they should be applauded for this and hopefully it will become widely us...

Re: Hartley gone again!
I don't seem to recall things being so nasty between us and Saints before Dorian West went there from us? Maybe he and Cockers need to have a 'clear-the-air' session in the interests of good rugby? I agree with all who said it was on the whole a cracking game of rugby: two good teams playing their ...

Re: Hartley gone again!
Honestly its embarrassing firstly that players are diving (think back to Bryan Habana being booed when he collected his Heineken cup medal), and even worse when fans are trying to justify it. Do you think they do this in New Zealand?? They will be laughing at northern hemisphere teams!! Diving woul...

Wow Corbisero accusing Matt Smith of diving, says a lot about the Saints mentality to say that......
