Re: First use of TMO under new rules - IMO rubbish
In theory, it was the correct decision. If the ref had seen it, he would have stopped play, so would that then have been a "total injustice"? No it wouldn't. The referee saw it. Otherwise he would not have called in the TMO to question it specifically. The ref saw it but at the time must ...

Re: There's only one scrum in England!
On the subject of scrum halves did anyone else think Austin was a bit harsh on Ben? Thought he had a few snipes at Ben, and gives me the impression he's not a fan? I think it was the fact that earlier in the season Ben kept putting in poor box kicks, and he pointed it out back then. It comes to a f...

The question is, would he even get into the team with Slater, Mafi, Parling, Kitchener all playing really well

Re: Murphy shouldn't get cited and punished for shove on Foden
Its a pointless debate. Unless i'm being totally dense not one person has been cited for blocking before. Just because this one is pretty obvious why should it be treated differently?

But he failed to get regular starting rugby at both Castres and Stade after he left Tigers IIRC.

Re: Abysmal Celtic refs....
You really need to disabuse yourselves of the notion that an Irishman prefers a Scot, Welshman, Italian, Englishman or Frenchmen any better one than the other. Your all bleedin' foreigners. :smt002 :smt029 As I see it the problem is with interpretation of the laws. If you play with Rabodirect refer...

Re: Sarries stoop to a new low
(I for one just assumed that logically, the game was being held on the Jupiterian moon of Callisto!) Argh.. that was the answer to a quiz question I had last night... Anyway on topic. The problem with Sarries is they are trying to appeal to overseas fans rather than trying to encourage the fanbase ...

Re: Leicester v London Irish
I agree that they got away with murder, but would we really have scored many more? really? you think so? You cant say so definitively but how many times were they penalised in dangerous areas? And if this led to another yellow card, the average points conceded in a sin bin period is 7. So I would s...

Re: Leicester v London Irish
Such a poor performance for the last 15 mins, but if Irish had not conceded so many penalties in the first 50 minutes then we would have scored more in that period. The fact that they can concede so many penalties, be warned so many times and not have another yellow is not acceptable at this level

Re: Wales end up 4th
I could be a biased Welsh man but I have to wonder why the tackle on Sean Williams in the first few minutes was not ruled dangerous. He came down on his head from higher and harder than the French player which resulted in a red card. :smt022 Because it was not the fault of the player attempting the...
