Re: Tigers v Newcastle (A) - Premiership - Friday 29th March 2024 - KO: 19-45

other clubs should take advantage of this with Newcastle, loan them a young player that's just about ready for Prem rugby that you are already stacked in depth wise, could do wonders for someone like Lewis Chessum if we signed a couple of locks for example. though with the cap that may complicate th...

https://www.rugbypass.com/news/diamond-demands-law-change-while-accusing-tigers-of-illegal-activity/ I see Mr Diamond is trying to suggest things to the referee already... If you can't coach a team to defend the rolling maul, why not just get the ref to ping them on it... At least we know what's wo...

Re: Tigers v Newcastle (A) - Premiership - Friday 29th March 2024 - KO: 19-45

its not a Tigers specific point its a general point no club should be picked for Friday night 3 weeks in a row. we had something similar with Leicester City last season we played 4 home games in a row on the Monday night and it made a difference to both the crowd and the players, everything was flat...

Re: Tigers v Newcastle (A) - Premiership - Friday 29th March 2024 - KO: 19-45

Well one was in a separate competition to avoid the 6 nations super Saturday and to give each team 7 days recovery. Then last Friday and this Friday are home and away games driven by tv schedules. Like it or not with TNT agreeing to cover all games 3pm Saturday kick offs are going to become less th...

Re: Saracens - Harlequins TMO

Austin is doing his job, nothing wrong with that, the simple solution is don't let the TMO hear the commentators, and just watch the footage with stadium noise and ref mic. But if a TMO doesn't step in because a commentator saw something and doesn't want to look like he or she is being lead then the...

Re: 23/24 Injury/Suspension/Absent International List

given JVP was supposed to be close to a return the silence on him has become annoying, he's probably not with Tigers atm so wouldn't expect McKeller to say anything He was at Kingsholm last week as a waterboy from memory that happened earlier in the season and we all thought he'd play in the next f...

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

Remember seeing Slade debut against France in 2015 and thinking he has bags of talent ball in hand. He probably hasn’t lived up that hype and can be inconsistent. But still think he’s a very good player at 13, especially with a carrier at 12 like Manu / Lawrence. Agree about Steward. I’ve no doubt ...

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

the worst thing about this for me is it sends a terrible message to the players about Steve as a coach. You can be one of the teams best players consistently for a number of years including in the current 6 nations and just because Steve wants to signal a change of intent you get made a scapegoat in...
