Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 3

a big powerful 12 you say? If only we had within our squad a big powerful international centre with lots of experience of playing both 12 and 13 in Test matches.

Maybe we already have the answer here and just need a pacier 13 to play outside Manu...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 3

"South African back row Cyle Brink will join Leicester Tigers next month after the Lions agreed to release him from his contract with immediate effect." How could he pass a medical if he's ruptured his Achilles? he's already into the rehab phase so assuming its medically stable and he's just doing ...

Re: England v Wales

Well, if you say so. I bow to your clear vast experience. All I’m saying is that the head coach of England believed it was not a red card and two of his players didn’t. Who is telling the truth? 2 players who have a vested interest in Manu appearing contrite, apologetic and getting as short a ban a...

Re: England v Wales

When I last looked I believe Eddie Jones is a coach and he stated that he did not think it was a red card. So it is reasonable to believe they are telling the truth here and not lying. But if you wish to believe they exact opposite... didn't accuse anyone of anything stop clutching your pearls, I h...

Re: England v Wales

Comment from Ben Youngs that if the red card incident had happened the other way England would have wanted it to be looked at, and the neither he nor Manu had any problems with the call what professional players and coaches say in public can often be different to their true feelings, I would be int...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 3

I really don't understand why we brought back Callum Green. Very very average. he currently doesn't appear to be any better than Wells and is probably being paid a lot more than him And yet last season was one of the best performing locks in the Prem. He's also spent some time out injured this seas...

Re: England v Wales

also on the Manu tackle, North was down, both knees on the floor, Slade still holding the leg and he was trying to get back up without releasing the ball if he'd obeyed the laws of the game he wouldn't have had to be tackled by Manu as well

Now Reid and McPhilips are injured can we have Ian Madigan on loan please? :smt003 George Ford back now so with Hardwick and Costelow should be fine are the England players back? I would imagine Eddie is well within his rights to keep them in a training camp until the last expected week of the 6N

But there is mitigation, surely? It was low on the tackle. But he was dealing with a much taller player. There was contact, but no force. No more than a friendly tug?
he's going to have to face the ultimate judge in this situation, Mrs Marler, he will be suitable punished no doubt
