Re: PRC Round 1 - Warriors vs Tigers

I'm sure they said on RL Tigers show last Wednesday that Simmons is recovering from an injury

Re: England v Italy

Marchant looked good at 13 but a rampaging Manu would have got a couple of tries against that Italian defense.

Given he only has 2 caps and one of those was filling in in the back row really surprised Singleton hasn't started one of these tests at hooker

Re: Youngs injured in pub brawl

The coverage this got always annoys me slightly as I can imagine what would have been said and done by the press had it been the Leicester City players rather than Tigers, even if they had acted in exactly the same way

Re: Wales 1st in the World?

Does it actually say in the laws that you need to wait for the sin binned player to leave the field of play? The HIA incident is no different to when play carries on and a player is receiving treatment on the field. There's nothing illegal about it. It was schoolboy rugby from England not being rea...

Re: Wales 1st in the World?

Yet in a recent article, on SKY Sports website I think, EJ or journo mentions there is no such 'Law' in the same article where EJ says ref should have yellow carded himself. Weird thing is, if the player going off had inadvertently got involved in play somehow would Eng have been charged with havin...

Re: Wales 1st in the World?

Jimmy. Why was the try illegal? because when you sin bin a player you have to wait for him to leave the field before restarting play, Watson was still running off as the ball flew over his head, also England's medical personnel and water carriers were still on the field, which they shouldn't have b...

Re: Wales 1st in the World?

still not sure Heinz is good enough, think Manu could do with a start, YBY too given he had shoulder surgery and missed the end of last season, after George the standard at Hooker drops a lot

Re: Wales 1st in the World?

helps if the ref allows an illegal try to stand and stops England from going quickly for no reason

I'm sure that I heard one of the pundits saying that George Ford can also play scrum half if necessary
he could probably do a decent job there but the could do with a Harrison, a SH that can be a utility back in the squad

Re: England WC squad

LCD finished the game with Singleton Sunday so he guess he's our emergency prop,he started life as one anyway. I don't like it,too many back 3 players, Williams should've gone. The 2 SH doesn't bother me, statistically the 3rd 9 at RWC only averages 5 minutes game time anyway. Singleton ended up pl...

Re: England WC squad

so which Prop can play both sides? I count 3 looseheads and only 2 tightheads

A little surprised no Dan Robson wasn't that impressed with Heinz yesterday
