Re: Tigers v Saracens (H) - Premiership - Saturday 06th January 2024 - KO- 3-05pm

I can’t fathom the amount of handling errors in the 22 but 4-0 match points against Sarries shouldn’t be a disappointment. There were no facets of the game where they were better than us, in spite of some decent backs movements here and there.
The game is afoot…

Re: The Nadolos

I was always optimistic at this signing, based on his strike rate, yet I’m not one for thinking that a highlight reel tells the whole story (Fonua?). However, I have been immensely impressed by this chap. The effort and commitment that we have seen so far are even more impressive than the stature an...

Re: Cockers

Just wish some of the RC fans would actually look at what was going on, he was part of the problem, getting the sack has almost certainly been a part of the upward curve. His departure was correct, but it's what went sometime before that was the start of the downward trend. What we haven't replaced...

Re: Bath vs. Tigers - Sat 25 Jan 15:00

I never said that anyone did say we were brilliant. This whole thing started with my response to someone who said "we are inching our way back to the pack" after the Bath game. Which is simply not true given that we are now more points behind the teams above than we were previously. Sorry...

It is not mathematically impossible for Sarries to average 4.5 match points per game and finish on 56 points which would put them in play off territory...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD Part Deux

Did I read somewhere that Owolofela prefers 15? Think it's been said on the message board previously. He played 15 against Bath in the LV last season during the second half. Didn't look as comfortable as he did at centre. Might be a position he grows into at senior level. He said it in a rugby pape...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2017/18 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 3!

As regards to centres I hope Owen gets over his injury worries,i really want to see an unextended run of a midfield of Toomua,Owen,Tuilagi which imo could be by far our best trio. Play Holmes and give him a free roam to track runners and with May and Veainu running from deep and it's a very potent ...

Re: George Fords place kicking

The commentator yesterday said Ford is 81% this season which is on par to others. 81% is ok but he doesn’t take a lot of kicks that other 10’s would or his stats would be worse Surely it's better to recognise your limitations than to attempt something in which you have no confidence. Imagine the am...
