Re: Tom and Scott loan Tigers money
This seems a "reasonable" interest rate. I've seen rates ranging from 0% (rare) to 20-25% (when accounted for properly not necessarily headline rates but various discount to par tricks) on directors lending LSE or AIM listed companies money. These all seem to get them 'fair' judgement from...

Re: Salary Cap changes
A reduction in the cap but with additional credits for english qualified players is very positive. If the relative percentage can increase over time this would further strength the pathway.

The only other option the major shareholders could consider is that people could opt to convert their refunds into shares in the club.

imaginary saracens statement: Players 1 and 2 were consuming coffee left over from the 2018-19 seasons, players 3 and 4 were consuming coffee from the current season, player 5 was drinking tea and not coffee. We as a club remain confident that the coffee salary cap regulations have not been breached...

Re: Saracens Cap Investigation / Grounds for Appeal
Barnet Council lending £22m to Saracens .... (I'm unsure what has already been lent and what is a committment) "Saracens sought bank funding to construct the West Stand, but were unable to raise sufficient investment at an appropriate price. Consequently, Saracens approached the council as an a...

Re: Business question.
Note 7 is interesting - 'Playing and coaching staff' dropped from 103 to 78
clearly salary cap and rising salaries has led, at least in part, to this drop.

Re: Christian Wade
Good luck to him. Part way through a season is slightly odd but he is going to the NFL where this seasona player walked about partway through a game and retired.
If he wants to try it now is as good a time as ever, better than waiting until it is too late to try.

Re: Financial Health of the Premiership
If Tigers were to issue a bond to finance the hotel this would seem a very reasonable business approach - the other options appear to be fund from cashflow (too slow) or licence the site to a hotel developer who funds development and takes most of the return. There is a big difference to debt to fun...

Gatland will need a new law!
All Welsh players will need to play for English or French clubs as the timezone of playing in South Africa (or even America) would not permit him to pick these players to play for Wales without at least a months break.

does anyone know what a dor actually does? Every club seems to be slightly different. I for one would prefer to leave the coaches coaching if that's what they're best at... and dor as a conduit between coaches and board... thoughts? DoR wears a suit; Coach wears a tracksuit! Did the board suddenly ...
