Re: You know what... I think a one-off season in the Challenge Cup will do us good

The idea that not being in the Heineken cup would be humiliating for the club is both ludicrous and laughable. I think we are one of the only few clubs in europe to never be in it. (Certainly in the prem) Yet it hasn't affected others. Some people really don't have a clue at times, highlights how s...

I agree, it would bring the club as a whole down to earth!
Some different destinations sounds good too! :smt023

I wouldn’t be surprised if he stays.

On way too much money to be 3rd choice.
Are we getting value for money? Definitely not, especially when he can’t hit a barn door at lineout time.
I would venture that we haven’t had VFM from either him or Toomua, injuries aside.

Re: Tigers v Wasps

I just read the match reports on line in the DT and DM, both focused on the TMO decisions but neither mentioned that we had 3 concussions in the first half and played the last 45 mins with a winger at scrum half and flanker on the wing!! You honestly would not have a clue reading those reports. But...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 5

Realistically this could be Manu’s last shot at a World Cup and the way England are playing it could be a good one. Therefore it makes a lot of sense for him to go now rather than in another two years when his worth will likely have diminished. I would wish him luck and then say to the squad let’s p...

Re: What gets your goat in the rugby of today?

It’s my opinion if you think that then cool, I don’t like either of BT’s commenators to be honest. Compared to Butler they are a joy to listen to. As you say it’s personal preference I couldn’t abide Bill McClaren a lot of the time. Other people thought he was a broadcasting genius Well there you g...
