Re: Doom and Gloom
I think if our attack really starts to click, given how good we are at putting teams under pressure in their 22 we will be winning those games that we have been losing this season. We will be scoring those points early on and building the pressure on the opposition, they chase the game and more chan...

Best guess when our new attack coach will join us? Ordinarily would be July but I wonder if it could be sooner?

My view and my view alone...... Disagree entirely with those who would move Steward anywhere - perhaps in the future another position may be preferable to all concerned but as of now how about keeping it simple .... We are fortunate enough to have a World Class Fullback playing for us in Steward. W...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)
I would hope with a new attack coach we can build a style to suit the strengths of our players ie: Freddie at 15 etc and enable those players to play to their strengths. To be fair Freddie on the wing is only happening because we've got four or five wingers out injured but three fit fullbacks. Inde...

That Kata lad was playing well, it was unfortunate. Exactly this! He gives his all every game, the tackle was, in my opinion, unfortunate, in as much the Northampton player was somewhat below upright, had he remained in an upright position Kata's tackle would have been around the ribs! Split second...

Re: Tigers v Saints (A) - Premiership - Saturday 20th April 2024 - KO: 15-05
I cannot think of any club above Tigers that have gone through so much change or disruptions in the last few years. Other clubs have coaches who have been in place and had time with the players. Losing half your coaches mid season was not great. It is going to take time and a World Cup season was a...

Re: Tigers v Saints (A) - Premiership - Saturday 20th April 2024 - KO: 15-05
Given the disparity in available players the result didn't surprise me. I'm happy to give McKellar time, I think the whole attack coach fiasco is a poor reflection on the club management, feels like he's been dealt a bum hand! What a massive excuse that is - do you really think he wasn’t given the ...

I think Carnduff is a 6. Hanro is 6'6, and Finn is 6'4, so he is shorter than Hanro, however he does weigh the same as Hanro. A a result, I think he is perfectly suited for the back row. Plus being shorter means he is better suited for a turnover as we saw at Newcastle. I think someone else already...
