Re: New Home shirt

Oh dear. Completely underwhelming.

Wider bands please. Does anyone at the Club have any imput or do Canterbury tell us what to wear?

If there is input from someone here I'd suggest they might canvass opinion from the people who'll be buying them.

Re: Twelvetrees for The Lions.

It's always fun to see what Gloucester fans have to think. There's a thread dedicated to 36 and so there should be. However there's a lot of self congratulation implying Glaws as the sole reason for 36's call-up. They are certain that they got the better of the Allen/36 switch. Whereas 36's abilitie...

Even the most sensitive of delicate Rugby fans would be hard pushed to find something rude in Kornboy's measured and logical response.Where was he rude? I too fail to see what else the Club could have done for Ford.

No intention to offend.

Re: SCW

Do you really think so?

I think SCW and Ian Mc Geechan were both very lucky to have incredibly strong players and leaders at their disposal.

I always thought there was an element of "The Emperors new clothes" about those two.

Re: All blacks have sponsor on their shirt.

Well they've had Adidas prominently displayed for some time. I believe they payed a fortune to secure the shirt rights from NZ company Canterbury.

Its also a major form of advertising right?

Jazus, you should take a look at the Shedweb forum. There are 5 pages of discussion on Manu's "Celebration" with the sensible vote just about holding sway
