Re: TV Coverage of Aviva Final
Without wanting to start a new topic, please check with pubs that it will be shown. It is also the Football League 2 (4th division) play off final that day live on sky!!! Absolute disgrace that it has gone to ESPN, a channell which only customers are armchair football fans. Probably going to be a vi...

Re: Final Day Fixture Clash Saturday 7th May
SAG will not let us play on the same day as if their is an incident they will be slaughtered. The way I see it is the Football League dont care/didnt realise it was the final day of the Premiership. They probably don't care anyway as they are a bigger and more high profile organisation who think the...

Re: Final Day Fixture Clash Saturday 7th May
http://www.lcfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~2302078,00.html change confirmed on LCFC website. I think the whole Premiership last day will be moved, maybe to the Sunday? Sky would probably prefer this too as they can then broadcast both sports final days and guarantee a largeish audience whereas whe...

Re: Final Day Fixture Clash Saturday 7th May
true, but if it is left to the media to choose the final day of the championship football or the rugby premiership- there is only ever one option? especially as BBC and SKY are showing games, and all games in the football must kick off at the same time too. Tigers will inevitably have to move to acc...

Final Day Fixture Clash Saturday 7th May
The football league have decided to move the games forward for their final day fixtures from Sunday 8th to Saturday 7th May. BBC and SKY will both be showing live games of the final day. Kick offs will be 12:45 across the country at request of the police as in the last few seasons violence has been ...

Re: Yet another Sunday game! - Treviso - 23rd January 2011
To be fair it is hard to play on the same days for these reasons: -Parking- there were 31,000 watching City yesterday and 24,000 watching Tigers tomorrow. thats 55,000 sports fans. The city does not have this many spaces!!!! -LRI- ambulances must find it a nightmare when it is gridlocked on the ring...

Sun 26th December Boxing Day Tigers v Sale LCFC v Leeds United According to the GP website (http://www.guinnesspremiership.com/news/14102.php): "each team is guaranteed a home match on either Boxing Day or New Year's Day" As we are in Exeter on NYD we should be at home on boxing day. I wo...

Re: 2010 / 11 Fixture List
Assuming tv doesnt intervene then we have several clashes with LCFC: Sat 27th November Tigers v Falcons LCFC v Forest I have a feeling the police may move LCFC game here to the Sunday and an early kick off to avoid trouble, good excuse given the clash. Sun 26th December Boxing Day Tigers v Sale LCFC...

Re: 2010 / 11 Fixture List
big game v Leeds aswell, Im sure theyll be looking for a 30,000+ crowd for that one as well so little chance of it being moved. Tv or Police advice may still come into it. their away fixture v Derby has been moved to 1pm on police advice to curb drinking to try to minimise trouble as there was some ...

Re: Attendance - Tigers vs Leicester City
I see City got 10,000 more fans than us this weekend and their game was on TV against the team ranked 21st in the national system. And i was at welford road and there was nowhere near 19K there I guessed about 16K. People not gloating this week. Swings and roundabouts. And BJ I agree but that is bec...

Re: Attendance Figures
For some reason Tigers realease attendance figures as tickets sold and so the actually number of "attendees" is often distorted. For example v Wasps it was 24,000 given as the attendance yet this was clearly not the case. My row had 4 seats on it and many others were scattered about in pai...
