Re: Injuries / Returns
Agree, I don't think Camacho had a bad injury record before this one. I'm also pretty certain that we signed him before he got injured playing for Argentina. I'm not sure anyone we've recently signed, bar Tait, has had a particularly bad injury record before signing. Also, quite a few of the long te...

Re: Women's World cup on TV?
Interesting to read in today's paper that some of the players in today's final play for ladies clubs such as Worcester ladies Bristol ladies. Saracens have a ladies team when will tigers have a ladies team? We'll done ladies it was a great game. Shame you don't get the recognition and sponsorship y...

Re: Citing for Owen Williams
Im confused as to why he has pleaded guilty to it. If it was accidental then he wouldn't plead guilty so it must have been deliberate? Not necessarily. Depending on the footage/player statements and based on previous rulings, he was probably advised to plead guilty as the likelihood is that he'd ha...

Re: A Saints victory for Dignity!
Don't think there's anything wrong with Ma'afu's tweets. Yeah, an explicit apology to Youngs is missing, but if he said it to him in person, then I don't see why he would need to tweet it to him as well. Besides, the 'I owe you a pint' implies apology. The general tweet is (as I read it) an apology ...

Re: Reboot topic:referees now decide games #2
Do you really want the game reffed as per the laws? Really? It would be a scrum and PK fest - you would go potty. I honestly don't think I've seen a breakdown that doesn't have at least 2 PK offences in it. Refs make far fewer (or is it less?) mistakes than the players and get right criticised when...

Re: Heineken Cup semis
Some echo in here! Sarries have looked good, but two poor refereeing decisions led to a 14 point swing in their favour. That said, the tackling has been phenomenal, particularly from Burger. I'd be very pleased if Leicester put in a defensive performance like that- I'd say that's been the big weakne...

Re: Insurance or hypocrisy:Lancaster & Armitages
Times change. Cultures change. I feel that the Armitage brothers, Nick Kennedy and Sheridan signed for French teams around the same sort of time and, bearing in mind that Wilkinson, Haskell and Palmer had also been playing in France, that's why the ruling was brought in- to prevent it becoming a tre...

Pathetic, yet funny. Should have been yellow carded.

Re: Insurance or hypocrisy:Lancaster & Armitages
It's all very well arguing about retrospective punishment and suggesting an exception could be made because he initially signed for Toulon before the ruling about overseas players was made, but I'm pretty sure that since then, he's signed a new contract at Toulon. He didn't have to re-sign for them....

They're at it again; http://offsidetackle.blogspot.co.uk/2014/04/ed-slater-joins-man-united.html Wait a minute. This was written by somebody who supports a team with Lee Dickson in it? I may be a bit slow - how do you work that out? Ah, I misread the top post- I thought the blog was written by a Sa...

Re: Quins Vs Tigers
Forwards are the most important part of the team.....they win you ball, the backs finish the work started by the forwards. Cockers, like other coaches, have difficult decisions to make about the balance of the squad. Tigers have always been known for forwards strength .....it would be nice for the ...

Re: Quins Vs Tigers
i don't quiet know why salvi was carded either as we were not warned of an impending card No warning needs to be given for a card. However, it wasn't even a penalty and not in the red zone, or for persistent offending. Furthermore, why didn't they get a yellow card for laying all over the ball afte...

Re: Quins Vs Tigers
In amongst a myriad of contentious refereeing decisions the better team won. We carried negligible attacking threat and they looked dangerous every time they came forward. Discipline awful to boot. Discipline might not have been good, but quite a few of the penalties conceded should have gone the o...

Re: The "choke tackle" debate
I'd have Lawes over Deacon, but I'm not sure about Slater and Kitchener. I think if you were to rate them out of 10 as players, they'd probably all be about the same, but I think they are all very different players and bring different things to the game. Who you'd play would depend on who else is i...
