Re: Thinking positive for the final
Didn't know that was there actually, good find. Although having to drive out there might put some people off a little. Just had a look and the public transport from there to the city takes a lot longer than the 15 mins it says on the site (45 mins - 1 hour depending on where you are in town and what...

Haha, I have 4 other people who had the same idea already and unfortunately they are my family so can't really kick them out.

Re: Thinking positive for the final
In terms of hotels it really depends on where you want to be, how close you want to be to the pubs over here. The metro system is pretty good and Lyon isn't a huge city so most places are easy to get to. Bear in mind the metro stops around midnight but there are obviously taxis and walking is also a...

Re: Tigers 2016/2017 Dream Team
From what I've seen of Toomua, the opposition centres might be just as worried about facing him and Manu when they have the ball, some of the hits coming in the midfield next season could be brutal

Yeh, to get the best deals on the Eurostar you have to book at least 3 months in advance. For anyone wishing to use it in general, you can book the direct Eurostar to Lyon/Avignon/Marseille 6 months in advance and it is very cheap. You can currently get the Eurostar for around €200 return if you tak...

Re: Tigers v Stade Team.
Great result and well done to the team, though I thought we had the rub of the green today, was that first try really a Tigers throw in? Also seems Veainu is competing with the other backs to see who can best butcher a scoring opportunity. Are Goldsmiths running a butchered try of the season compet...

Re: The European Weekend Unfolds......
I live in Lyon but I am back in England that weekend for my mate's stag do, months ago had originally booked a Eurostar back on the Sunday which would mean I'd be on it during the match, currently looking to see how much it will cost to change my ticket

Re: Tigers v Stade Team.
Not surprised Tait is starting, Cockerill was always going to go for the experience back there in such a big game. If we end up chasing the game then they will switch.

Re: Seru Rabeni RIP
Very sad news, he was such a great player to watch. Thoughts with his friends and family. Living in France I don't get to many games these days but I happen to be back in England this weekend and so can go to the game on Sunday. Very glad I will be there and will be able to pay tribute to him along ...
