Re: JPP

JPP looks slower than he is! Like Scott Hamilton, he has an elegant, long, rangey stride that has an effortless feel. And Tom Varndell, the most prolific Try scorer in Prem history, was often deemed tackle shy. Yes, I think JPP needs to concentrate more, but he also has other wonderful ball skills, ...

Re: Waynetta - too familiar??

I am clearly a dinosaur.

I would have found it very odd a referee addressing me by my Christian name during a game.
Far too informal. Surname, or Blue 3.

To me it's to do with personal/professional boundaries, and being seen to be impartial during the game.

Re: Matt O'Connor In...Mauger Out

Of the Chairman, Board and CEO, a phrase from the political world comes to mind, "duplicitous :censored:". At the best they may be described as lacking what used to be called 'man management', but in the sweep of the past few months in particular, they have demonstrated a degree of ineptit...

Re: Is it now time to thank the board (and Mauger)?

Dear fellow Leicester Tigers supporters, I fully understand the deep frustrations, and a 'right' to express them, especially if perhaps one invests £400+ each season in a ST. We hope that we will be heard. But surely, slagging off each other and - after the initial disappointment - the players is ha...

Re: Positive Posts only for The Great Cockerill

I don't know how long his Tigers email address will remain active - or whether they'll pass messages on but - I sent an email to RC this morning thanking him for everything and got a very nice response from him. richard.cockerill@tigers.co.uk As did I when the news first broke, and got a similarly ...

Re: Stanko Returns

Excellent news to have Stanko back for Scrum coaching.
In itself new eyes will bring changes, but Stanko's new eyes will reap rewards.

Like probably everyone else, I would love to find a role at the Club for every retiring legendary player, but sadly it simply isn't possible.

Smoke on the Water is certainly now overdone, with the reprise after half time. Nay, nay and thrice nay.

Re: Welford Road Atmosphere

The larger a ground becomes by incremental addition, the more open it becomes and the harder it is to generate and retain the intensity of sound, not least because people feel more exposed and self-conscious. Grounds that are purpose designed and built from scratch can compensate for this by their d...

Re: Tigers v Wasps

Maybe to many overseas players being employed who don't have the Tigers ethos and are only at the club for the pay check. Maybe it's time to give Harry Thacker and Will Evans a chance again as they will play their hearts out for the shirt. Something I feel the more experienced players are failing t...

Re: Kit Watch

Nice kits. Advertising makes them look messy but is part and parcel of the game, so there's not much point complaining. As the Club's announcements of shirt sponsors kept growing during the week before kit launch, I was quite fearful. But in the circumstances I think they've done pretty well in min...

Re: 2016 - 2017 kit

Please can we get back to a more traditional kit with more red in it. After all aren't we supposed to be the Red, White and greens and why can't we have a big picture of a Tiger on the front of it whilst still making room for the sponsor's logo. Just Imagine Mulli or Manu running at a nervous young...

SACK EVERYONE - HEADS MUST ROLL

Just sayin', before everyone else leaps in with the predictable.

By the way, I don't see what sacking anyone would achieve at this juncture, we're only mid-way through the planned rebuild. Don't bring in different managing staff just when that is happening.
