Re: How long does a Tigers home shirt (design) last?
Now that the 2008/9 Season is finally over, I imagine that we won't have too much longer to wait now for the new shirts, as part of the pre-season build-up(perhaps when the Lions tour is over). The 'sign' will be when the existing stock in the shop suddenly goes a whole lot cheaper

Re: Scrum yesterday
From where I was sitting (near the front of lower tier at the halfway line) I have to say that Tigers did a pretty good impression of making heavy weather of the scrummaging. That said, things weren't helped by some poor reffing at the scrum (eg not spotting the persistent collapsing by the LI tight...

Re: Leicester Playing in Away Shirts?
... to be honest, if anyone is at fault it is Tigers for choosing a home shirt design that predominently features the main colour of many away kits (ie white). As I have said elsewhere! Broad green and white stripes might make it easier to pick out miniscule players on the telly, but it does lead t...

Re: Sky TV want Tigers Fans
Sorry, I'm in the grumpy club with Bill. I would have liked to have become season ticket holder from 2009/10, but for work reasons can only make the Saturday traditional early afternoon k.o., which means a season ticket simply isn't worth my while (yes, I know I could sell on the unused, but what a ...

Re: Guinness Premiership Awards Nominations
...Not a Wasp in sight ..... but four Wasps make the Lions squad! Quite ... Hmmm ... Shocking ... Something rotten in Denmark ... In the company of some strong sides this season, Cockers has helped Tigers finish top of the table, 5 points clear, having won most and lost least games. On top of that,...

Re: New Users - Introduce yourself here!
Feels a bit like Alcoholics Anonymous, this. :smt003 James. Like Nickonone at the top of the page I'm an old tighthead and - don't know if this is still like him - still got the waistline and backache to prove it (just getting over a slipped disc!). Although I have to confess to being an 'exile', be...

Re: How long does a Tigers home shirt (design) last?
Thanks everyone for your interesting comments. Personally, I have to say I'm perfectly happy with the Cotton Traders range, and they do last. Though the 'mud man' photo of Fran on the label does scare my youngest... (I did buy a Nike England shirt recently, the size comes up really small and it is t...

How long does a Tigers home shirt (design) last?
Albeit with two different main sponsors, the current home shirt design has been used for two seasons. Years ago, the same design was used year after year, and only tinkered with every few decades! There have been quite a few designs used in the Nineties and Noughties. So how fast will the turn over ...
