Re: Croft retires

Maybe so, but he was always good at catching the ball when it came to him!

I also think we should all give him around of applause on Sunday

Re: Croft retires

I remember that tackle he made at The Stoop. Everyone could see it was serious at the time but very sad to think it was the beginning of the end for what I have always thought was a genuine great player. It is also no surprise that since that day we haven't been quite the same as a team either. Coin...

Re: Marcos retires

Not only one of the best props ever in the premiership but has to be one of the best in world rugby.
A great player and a great servant to the club.
All the best Marcos

Re: Jokes revived

I was driving along today when a cop stopped me.
"Papers" he said as I wound down my window.
"Scissors" I replied... "I win" and with that I drove off.
He must of wanted a rematch because he kept chasing me for the next 20 minutes!!!

Re: Mike Brown

I have a concern with the signing of a well known player like Mike Brown, not on a personal basis but that yet again he would be taking a position from a home grown young talent. We don't see enough players coming through from our academy. Worth has stepped into the breach on a number of occasions ...

Re: Times report Ford on his way to Tigers

Since GF has been at Bath, he has improved as a player which is evident as he has ousted Fazlet for the No 10 shirt.
I for one am pleased to see him come back but also sorry to see Freddie go the other way.

Welcome home George.

Re: DOR aspirants, then?

If ex national coaches are being touted what about enticing SCW out of punditry? After all an ex Tiger he is and we could do a lot worse.

Harry Thacker

I've heard a rumour that Harry Thacker has signed for Worcester.

Please can someone confirm that this is all nonsense. If we loose HT I think it could be no different to loosing a class player like we did with TTTE

Re: Departure of Cockerill

This is the wrong decision. Cockers cannot be solely blamed for the results we have seen of late. School boy errors from high quality players have put us where we are and I cannot accept that these errors are down to RC. We all need to give RC a huge vote of thanks for what he has done for this Grea...
