Re: Relegation

Relegation would be a disaster, to be honest not making the top 6 would be damaging. But a relegation would be a disaster, we would lose our internationals, probably sponsorship and revenue overall.

Wake up call or not it may cause long term damage.

Re: Mike Williams

Nightmare!! Williams is one of our most important forwards. That's a huge blow to Tigers season and makes the recruitment of a new physical No.8/6 even more important. Where was this confirmed by the way? Seems to be coming from FB and Twitter IMO it is a devastating blow, I think we will miss his ...

Re: Dark Side

Part of the problem is it is just too big for most Coventry city and Wasp games.. what Coventry City do is seat all their fans together to create a buzz.

That said Wasps did get 16k at Quins game which isn't bad. Still its like a graveyard there with a forced atmoshpere

Re: Do we have a defence coach?

I hope Toomua will have a positive impact but we also cannot rest our hopes on him.. He is returning from injury and like we often see playing after a long season..

The Centers is an issue of its own IMO. With Manu out we seem to lack a contingency plan to play other centers.

Re: I'm confused

The beauty of rugby union is that entertainment comes in many different shapes and sizes. A well executed backs move resulting in a nippy little blighter darting through is entertaining. A well executed line out call and a collossal shove for the line is entertaining. A pack nailing its opponents w...

Re: Tigers v Bath

It was a much better performance a much more physical effort from the pack. I thought both Baths tries were really soft and we were half asleep for them. We did seem to slightly retract on conceding them both before steadying the ship. Mike Williams gave us huge physicality we have been lacking and ...

Re: Tigers v Wasps

I agree with Iain and Cardiff I think it is too early to panic.. Yes we have some glaring issues but we have also shown some good play in both games although brief at times.. However I do feel if we are going to really compete at the top we need to sort out these issues sharpish. Wasps will imo cont...

Re: A bit of perspective

Last thing I think we need to do is reevaluate our style of play.. Racing defended well put us under pressure and well to be honest we were sloppy.. we played badly and it was really frustrating to watch so many basics go wrong but we have apart from a poor few weeks played better and have laid the ...

Re: Tigers v Gloucester Rugby - Teams up

I have generally held the view we are in a bit of a transition year but am starting to painfully admit that this transition isn't actually happening as we are getting worse within this season itself.. Big second half needed all or nothing now.. we lose this our season is as good as over in all likel...

Re: Sale v Tigers

I think on the whole we have a good squad.. I think there are a few areas were are getting thin (front row, I just do not feel our replacements are good enough**) and will strengthen it next season. Hopefully a good break and OTY MWilliams will come back fully fit and strong. What is a problem is th...

Re: Would you have Farrell playing for tigers?

Farrell was sublime for Sarries on Saturday.. He has really improved this season for them especially in the Euro Cup He isn't playing there for England now granted but he is standing outside a 10 who is struggling and to b fair to George some of the service from 9 has been really poor. Whether peopl...

If Manu is going to play 12 long term the dog legs have to be cut out or the line at least needs to move with him

Re: France v England team news

In fairness Cole has now conceded 15 penalties this 6 nations.. Whatever angle you take, that is a problem. Youngs I think is a mixed bag he does some really really good stuff but his service can be really slow and I know Ford is a little short but passes to his laces and 1 foot over his head do not...

Re: Team vs Exeter

Fantastic result.. I was have torn anyones hand off before that.. Although watching it last night we were very lucky.. dropped off considerably in the final 20 and the referee helped us a lot during that time.. What I don't think helped was losing Ayerza and the scrum just gave away pens and attacki...
