Re: Not a new kit Launch.... Tigers Together membership

If it is not aimed a season ticket holders why are they emailing season Ticket holders with personal messages from.p!ayers. I have not said I want anything, I have epressed a concern over what this might come to mean. When I first became a member of Leicester Football Club the membership entitled yo...

Re: Not a new kit Launch.... Tigers Together membership

In terms of fairness you are right, but in practice the big match brings out the support. It could be a wife joining her husband for the day out of a weekend away, or a child accompanying a parent, a good time at the occasion can bring a new season ticket holder. Big matches have a way.of producing ...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)

Watson when fit is a brilliant player, We have him a contract when he needed one to continue his career, we have him another this season and through.no fault of his own he has not played. I doubt that he will be required in the future by England so if we get him fit to p!ay he should be good value. ...

Re: Not a new kit Launch.... Tigers Together membership

There is no ticket allocation for general away matches. The limited allocation I refer to is only for finals and semi finals. The past system has been along the lines of season ticket holders, a single ticket, then members, then one plus one a d eventually the general public of course many regular s...

Re: Not a new kit Launch.... Tigers Together membership

I too have received the Freddie message, as did the friend I was with at the time so I think it fair to say it has been sent out to all season ticket holders. There has been a post on Facebook from an unemployed season ticket holder showing what a good supporter he is by also signing up for membersh...

Re: Not a new kit Launch.... Tigers Together membership

My fear is that when Tigers return to playing in finals we will receive our usual 7000 ticket allocation to distribute amongst our 12/14000 season ticket holders in the past a season ticket was also a members ticket. There were a few people for whom a S/T was impractical and for a nominal amount the...

Re: Is Tigers emblem unique?

The Tigers emblem is registered and therefore should be unique. Originally the design was a single colour design but as the Tiger's eye has to be darker than the outline the single colour was not appropriate for all backgrounds. This was pointed out by the original designer following a match when he...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)

I did play on the front row and when at tighthead looked forward to tall.looseheads, my job was to disrupt and lower the scrum to limit the advantage they had of the put in. Their job was to hold me up to retain that advantage, if I was at loosehead against a tall tighthead the ambition was to get u...

Re: RIP Sid Going

Sad to hear of the passing of this great player.
I do wonder if now auto-correct will stop changing Youngs to Goings every time I type the word, it hasn't done so yet.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)

First announcement could be of who has been promoted from the Senior Academy to the full men's squad, of course there could still be a release of two to be announced, then we will.have a better idea of where the gaps are. I agree that apparently we now have only Pollard as a specialist 10 that is a ...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)

Both Green and Edwards are about 28, neither has p!aged a lot of Premiership rugby, Edwards I think was with England 7's for a lot of his career. I don't see why either of them would be useful.to us although I agree we need another back up 10. Pollard is our marquee player, if we are happy with him ...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)

Raging Bull.is right Kelly is a great playmaker and has a physical presence what we need is a speedy partner for him and back up that can also be a tactical change if necessary. Perese, Kata, Woodward could be the answers, a back up to Pollard would be very handy. Shilcock I believe played fullback,...

I agree with Tigris, James is a versatile player who would certainly challenge for a starting position and is a few years younger than Moroni.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)

Didn't Tom Penney have a stint at Harlequins but returned home. He is certainly a good club player but I don't see how he would improve our team. I want to see us signing either established quality first teamers or young players that we can improve not bulk standard club players that block the devel...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)

Moroni was not always a starter in his 35 appearances over his two years with us. A good player but in two years with Falcons has only appeared 20 times to me that suggests that at 33 his skills are fading and I don't think he would be an asset as a player for us. We need some one quicker and younge...
