Re: Tigers v Newcastle (A) 21st May 2022 KO 15:00

Thanks for the info re Whitcombe maybe giving lady Gaga a run in case of injuries to a couple of loosehead in the run in Yeah very much that as if any loosehead or tighthead were to get injured Leatigaga would be a favourite to come into the side as bench cover. His carrying game and turnover work ...

Did Manz get picked in the 23 of one of the Covid cancelled games? Or was he picked 8n a game once and didn't come.odf the bench? It's on my head for some reason, I was really looking forward to seeing him
Tom Manz was on the bench Vs Connacht but didn't come on.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Steve Borthwick and the Chamber of Oval Park

Manz would be a monstrous 6. He's 6,6 18+ stone already isn't he and still growing. Will most definitely end up in the row Which Manz we talking about I suppose is the question as the Tigers website has Tom Manz at 6ft8 and well over 18 stone, description is just lock. His younger brother I think i...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Steve Borthwick and the Chamber of Oval Park

Aren’t we rumoured to be signing Odiase. Couldn’t blame Tomiwa for wanting to leave as even in the PRC he’d struggle for game time. 6. Ilione, Manz 7. Odiase, Illione 8. Jansen, Ilione Is Manz a realistic option at 6? Genuinely I don't know I just got the impression he was quite a bit unit and a sp...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Steve Borthwick and the Chamber of Oval Park

I’m not sure, he’s liked a few comments that say things along the lines of “looking forward to seeing you more in the Tigers 6 shirt next season”. Not sure he’d like them if he was off? Could just be me, but I think Tomiwa will be staying around with Tigers next season. I hope so anyway! Let’s hope...

Misses 4 out of 4!!!
7 out of 7 when the pressure was off, the pressure mounts up to maximum and he just can't get it through the posts. Fatigue could be playing a part as well.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Steve Borthwick and the Chamber of Oval Park

When you look at how many back rowers we have used I don't see why there wouldn't be space for him really. Agreed. Injuries, suspensions and call ups happen. Borthwick likes to rotate and we don't like sending out key players to the PRC. There will be chances for him. 4. Wells, Chessum, Manz 5. Gre...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Steve Borthwick and the Chamber of Oval Park

Tomiwa Agbongbon has posted a highlights reel on his Instagram, a sign that he's off? Generally a sign yes, that's a pity, but suspect someone will take him on.. Disappointing, thought he looked like he was progressing well. Unless he's touting around for a loan deal/dual reg whilst on a Uni gap ye...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Steve Borthwick and the Chamber of Oval Park

Bit confused are you suggesting Jones tries to get Reffell to switch to play for England. Why would he do that with the depth at 7 England have Because opensides have a high attrition rate, it would annoy Wales and Eddie does sometimes like to go dual openside (The Kamikaze Kids approach). That and...

Re: Tigers v Newcastle (A) 21st May 2022 KO 15:00

I'd definitely want to avoid Quins. Sarries Vs Quins will be a tough game and hopefully tire the team that comes through to the final. It will pay to finish top. Fourth seems to be between Saints and Glaws. Two teams we've beaten home and away this season. Two teams that are hit and miss week to wee...

Re: Transfers & Rumours Non-Tigers 2020-21

Sure on the commentary they have said that Charlie Ngtai is moving to Leinster as if they haven’t got enough talent. That's right, presumably to help cover international call ups what with the world cup on the horizon as well. Jason Jenkins coming in for the retiring Toner. Leinster really recruiti...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Steve Borthwick and the Chamber of Oval Park

I know why I just don't get the difference? I get the idea he's paid his dues to welsh rugby, but Reffell isn't even a product of welsh system so why should the limit apply to him? He did play age grade rugby for Wales all the way through, but I do get your point about his rugby education being out...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Steve Borthwick and the Chamber of Oval Park

The annoying thing about Wales is why does Biggar get a pass but not Reffell? The crazy thing is he's the welsh captain this 6N's and he would've missed all the extra training days Has Biggar got more than 60 caps…..I thought that allowed him to play outside Wales or am I making that up? There's a ...

Re: Tigers v Newcastle (A) 21st May 2022 KO 15:00

I do not want to face Quins in the semi so full bore for the next game is the right way to go. After that, we will have a better idea of what the table will look like at the end of the season. Sarries play both Saints and Glaws in their last 2 games so some points will be lost somewhere between the...
