To be fair Freddie on the wing is only happening because we've got four or five wingers out injured but three fit fullbacks.

Am I right in thinking we’ve statistically had the best defence this season? We have conceded 334 points thus far which is the lowest in the league. Saracens are close behind with 335. Our points scored is where our PD falls down https://www.tntsports.co.uk/rugby/premiership/standings.shtml Which t...

In my ignorance I wrongly assumer Curtis Langden was a product of Saints Academy but in reality he was signed from Montpelier having been priorly at Worcester and Sale beforehand for some 6yrs. Must say that prior to his time as Saints I had never heard of him. There was a time a few years back whe...

McKellar knows him from the Brumbies. Hewat has got a fair coaching CV by the looks of things and knows the Prem from his playing days. All makes sense.

Re: Tigers v Bristol (H) - Premiership - Saturday 27th April 2024 - KO: 15-00

It's been done to death, but I think Steward's ceiling is higher at centre. He is on the slow side for an international fullback and doesn't have the playmaking skills of many modern 15s. Fullback at the top level is increasingly the domain of players with the kicking and distribution skills of a f...

If by the time we play Sharks we are out of top 4 but safely in Champions Cup then let's focus on blooding people for next season.
Games at Welford Road should always be full bore, for pride if nothing else.

I agree - we have talented, international players in our backline. But we have a malfunctioning system. Our double WC winner barely makes an imprint on games. Kelly and OHC have gone from international recognition to a prolonged struggle for form. The master of the skies, Fred, has lost his Eng pla...

Hasn't played all season so makes sense for him to head over to Bordeaux earlier if it suits all parties.

I mean if we are looking for a number 8/lock type I don't fully care about what they are like over the ball. If we need more breakdown options then we need someone behind Reffell rather than with. You just need one main ball threat in the pack, as long as the rest of the pack can clear out the ruck...

Munster’s Gavin Coombes is out of contract in 2025. Plays 8 or 6 and can cover lock, a bit like Hatherall. Could he be worth it? What's he like over the ball? We need more breakdown threat across the pack. Our defence is not excellent when we can target the breakdown, slow the opposition down then ...

Would like to see Woodward has to offer. Give the lad a few games to show what he has got. I'd rather we introduced him into a settled side rather than a make shift team. It's hard to predict the starting line up when we don't know whether any of Heyes, Martin, Reffell, Bassett, Porter and Liebenbu...

I think if the club have any more signings ready they really could do with rolling them out soon. Most especially an attack coach announcement for next year... The club needs to get ahead of some of the negativity and give the fans a shot in the arm and a boost. I would like the club to publicly se...

11.9 for 100m? That's slow. International wingers are under 11, some closer to 10.5. He wouldn't have made the 1960s Welsh team with that speed. Might be a typo TBH. 10.5 with boots on, in winter and on a grass field? I think that is optimistic - Bryan Habana's best time on a track was 10.4 by all ...

If it's a knee injury then George has had no luck with those so far in his career.
